Turkish coffee and tart ayran are always good choices; when the weather starts to turn colder, a warm mug of sahleb is a uniquely delicious way to warm up.
Killer Coffee. Great neighborhood coffeehouse. Eclectic ambiance. Interesting menu. Great service and friendly staff. Good selection of killer coffees, breakfast, wraps and sandwich selections for any time of day. Jen
Incredible Nook. Stumbled into this incredible nook the other day.... the setting was a quaint vibe that reminded me of my vacations in France. Very Nostalgic, and the people were extremely warm and friendly. I ordered a CAPPUCCINO & FETA CHESSE OMELETE as a gorgeous young lady suggested i try. Fatastic choice. It was delicious. CAFE FULYA is my new passion..... thank you for the experience.
Homemade Sandwiches & Soups. The coffee is great and they have a ton of flavors. When you go, make sure you are hungry. They have homemade sandwiches and soups - and the desserts are incredible. They really do make everything from scratch. Thanks for giving back to the community and for making it a great place to visit.
Special Occasion. Atmosphere, setup, service and, of course, food were outstanding and very memorable. Most certainly deserves to be on the list for a "special" occasion venue, like a first date. Share the strawberry coconut cake with a cup of Turkish coffee. You will be amazed..... Maki
Great little Turkish cafe. Not sure why that other person ranked this so bad, this little spot is basically the perfect cafe. It is a great place to go for a coffee/lunch/dessert date or chat with friends. I went there for the first time the day after Thanksgiving, the place was filled at lunchtime, and many were Turkish (including my Turkish teacher! Quelle coincidence). I wish there were more things for veggie types like me (especially vegans, I'm not a strict one though) but that's really more a limitation of the cuisine. Can't wait to go back!
GoodTurkish cafe.
Have eaten here once and were pleased. My husband is Turkish and we particularly liked the manti (little filled dumplings served with garlic-yogurt and spicy butter).
Kofte (meatballs) were good too.
The chocolate fudge dessert was dry.
I've heard the breakfasts are really good. I know they serve poached eggs with garlic yogurt and spicy sauce, which I've made at home and love- can't wait to try here. (I know it may sound strange to Americans, but it is a REALLY good dish.)
The 1-star review here may have been written by a competing Turkish restaurant down the street - I wouldn't believe it. (Look at how vague it is!)
