all about the location. i like the location... it's very convenient to get around. the complex itself has a community garden and a place where you can play with your dog. there's even a work-out room for those of us who like to stay fit. overall, it probably beats where you are now !

NOT BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. The location is good for being close but not close to center city. i have lived here for 3 years and if the customer service were better in the management office I probably would not be writing this review. Maintenance NEVER comes when called. A leak in my apartment when I first moved in has yet to be fully repaired although no actual water comes in. The office people are nice but unconcerned with maintenance requests, even emergency leaks!! and tend to brush you off when called. I never expect a maintenance request to be honored unless I call at least three times!! There have been many thefts in the complex and not much has been done to beef up security. There is questionable effort to inform residents of improvements to security. The promise of smoke-free buildings is marginal b/c if you are like me and get stuck in a building where your neighbor smokes they stick you with this non-smoking contract but then the neighbor gets to continue smoking and with the vents it runs into your apartment. Proceed with caution if considering renting. Look at the actual apartment BEFORE you sign the lease they often try to get you to sign the lease and then take you to the apartment on move in day. The rent is reasonable but with management issues and lack of accountability, you may end up stuck with no adequate resolution to your issues.

Nice & Convenient. The Korman International City Chalets is a good place to live. It's close to center city but not too close so it's still quiet. I like that they allow pets here because I have 2 dogs. I mean, it's definitely not free but at least they allow it. My apartment is clean and nice and I have a huge walk in closet in the master bedroom. The other bedroom isn't that big but it's big enough for my daughter. The office people are always nice to us and the maintenance workers seem to know what they are doing. The landscaping is nice too. It's a good place to live and we like it here.

One of the most comfortable places in the area. After living at the Chalets for about six months it kinda became like a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Philly. As a young college graduate, i was sick of living in confined quarters during college so the spread out apartments here I really enjoyed. The staff wasn't always on time but always did get the work done. Staff were friendly and helpful and having the park across street was a plus.
