Natural Carpet Rug Cleaners in Philadelphia PA.. We ve used this carpet cleaning company for several years. The method they use (natural steam carpet rug cleaning) is the best in the industry, so we won t go anywhere else. I used to own a rug retail store and this is the carpet and rug cleaning service I would recommend to my clients. Best carpet cleaning in the Philly area.

minimal unimpressive results. I hired A-1 as I am trying to sell my house and after being closed up for several months a realtor noticed a stale smell in the house. I called A-1 as the carpets and windows also needed to be cleaned. For $400.00 I was sold professional carpet cleaning, o-zone air cleaning and window cleaning. I was warned that the rugs wouldn't be perfect but would look significantly better. After the work was complete, I was told by the owner that the rugs were damaged in some areas and therefore could not be brought back to life completely which I was okay with until I saw it. The carpets looked exactly the same - no different than if I had simply ran a Bissell cleaner over them. The windows were far from sparkling and were left unlocked!! There were only a few pieces of furniture in the house but even that was not put back in its place. I was really disappointed to see that after they were done there was still clean up work for me to do. The ozone air cleaning really didn't seem to have much of an impact except in an area that had a minor cat odor which seemed better.

So...

Pro's: Cat odor (minor, small area) almost eliminated, they were able to schedule us within a week, willing to negotiate a little

Con's: Very expensive, did not return house to the condition in which they found it (windows unlocked, furniture moved, cabinets left open), minimal unimpressive results

Best Rug Cleaners. My oriental rugs were picked up from my house looking like raggedy rugs that weren't even worth trying to clean. When this A1 Sparkles techs brought them back within a 10 day period, I thought they had the wrong ones! They looked better than ever! My Rugs now look brand new. It was worth it to have them professionally cleaned by A1 Sparkles.

My Flooded Basement. They did a great job cleaning up after my basement flooded. Now I scheduled annual carpet cleaning.

Unprofessional service!. They were quick to do an estimate on my 9,000+ sq ft home.I requested for my floors and windows to be cleaned only but the owner insisted on cleaning my entire house. Gave a really low estimate and the cleaners would be done in 4 hrs! I asked if she was certain of the price and time and she insisted because she really wanted me to hire her cleaners on a regular basis. In short, the 2 cleaners were overwhelmed, put oven cleaner on my seasoned Wolf griddle and ruined it, never got around to cleaning my floors or windows! Owner came by after 7 hours to help the cleaners finish up. Told her to call it a day after seeing ruined my griddle. Owner was really angry at giving me the low estimate and then told me my house was filthy as she was leaving! Poor business!

They are great!. A1 Sparkles cleans my carpets twice a year for $500. My carpets are always clean, and they also did my airducts $600, and bathroom tile $200. I have used other services before, but now its just them.

Great cleaners and very professional.

Don't Waste Your Money!. We recently had A 1 Sparkles in our home for what was supposed to be a thorough fall cleaning throughout. We paid $190.00 and were very dissappointed. Unfortunately, that was not the case...hardwood floors were not touched, shower and bath tub looked as though they ran the water but no cleaning performed, kitchen appliances and cabinets were never wiped down, and the baseboards were never dusted nor were they wiped. So after paying for a heavy duty cleaning ($190) I was expecting all of the above to be done. According to their website all of the above is included and supposed to be performed but I can tell you that A 1 Sparkles does not meet these standards at all. I called to complain only to be told by Fay that there was nothing they could do for me. I was also supposed to have A 1 Sparkles clean my rugs the following week but told Fay I would be cancelling due to the fact of such a poor/disappointing house cleaning. I had already been taken for $190 I was not about to be taken for another $300. I will certainly be spreading the word that A 1 Sparkles does not take pride in their service or work ethic. Will NEVER use again and are so truly DISSAPOINTED in their service.

Disappointment. We never used this service before and reviews seemed decent. For $285.00, the cleaning was a disappointment. We've had significantly better for $160.00. A bathtub / shower was not cleaned and supervisor/mgr. didn't seem to follow up on that issue. Wood floors were barely cleaned and remained dull. It appears that the business isn't strong on quality of service or building credibility. We won't use again.

Good Service. A1 Sparkles cleans my house every other week, and when I return home first thing I notice is my place smells, clean like a five star hotel. The service is consitent, professional, and I have piece of mind in knowing that I deal direct with the owners.

I get post cards and emails from them offering other services, such as natural carpet cleaning, and all kinds of floor care....and best of all since I am a regular I get discounts.

Grand Slam. In a word....Stupendous! I am offten on the road and their staff has my key, so I always come home to a spotless house. Total trust and expert workmenship.
