I found it very alarming that they would not send me a contractual agreement before signing up with them. They told me that their protocol states that I pay the $160 and then they will send me the contract. My account would not be activated until then and I have 90 days to get a refund. Even if this business has reputable properties, they do not have trustworthy business practices.

We were looking to get in a better neighborhood because the kids were starting to get older and we wanted a better “Group” of kids for them to hang out with. We were living in Kensington and since my wife’s job requires that she live in Philadelphia, we decided the Northeast was the area best to raise a family after researching it for a while. We registered with Locators since a buddy of mine had used them two different times successfully. I was not interested in searching through the madness of Craig’s list. Since we were so particular with the neighborhood that we wanted to live in, it took a little over a month to find what we wanted. We ended up renting a house in Rhawnhurst that fits the bill completely. The wife is happy, the kids are safer and that makes this Dad thankful.

I was looking for a very unique place to live. I am an artist and work from home and need a relaxing and inspirational place to set up my studio. They told me that their specialty was finding just the kind of place I was looking for. The first month, they did have some interesting rentals but nothing that was just right for me. On my 5th week with them, I found the place just like what I had envisioned. It’s a 2 Bedroom old carriage house with big old willow trees around it and a creek out back. The ceilings have the really cool exposed wooden beams & the front door is mostly stained glass! The main bedroom which is what I will use for my studio is huge and the view looks right out to the creek. I can’t wait to start painting in my new place and know that the perfect living and creation space will inspire me much more than where I have been the last few years. Thank you, thank you, thank you Locators !

I absolutely recommend using this company! My company transferred me to Philadelphia from Cleveland, OH. I had 2 weeks notice to move my entire life and find a place to live or lose the promotion chance since it needed to be filled immediately. I saw a Locators ad on Craig’s list and they told me their company was perfect for me because I could set up appointments to see the places before I arrived in Philadelphia. I just contacted the places that were available immediately so the day after I arrived I had 5 appointments’ to look at places. The third place I went to see was just what I was looking for and even reminded me of my old place back in Cleveland! I was only stuck living in a hotel for 3 days and am now happily living in my new Center City apartment, not that I see it often since the new job is insane!

I was surprised to see some bad reviews on this company because I was very happy with them. I signed up, got my properties almost everyday by going online for about a week. I found a great apartment in the Greater Northeast that is cheaper than I was paying and nicer. I needed to move quick and my buddy reccomended them to me since he and his wife used them last year. Sorry some of you dont feel the same, guess you cant please everybody.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!. DO NOT USE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! None of them promising places in the newspaper for locators will be there when you sign up. Any of them you see will never show up. They won't refund you if you find a place without using their service like they say they do. Locators will not call you back when you try to discuss getting the refund with them. Don't listen to them when they say you have to follow it like they want you to. All that means is you have to ask for an updated list EVERY day. So if you have a life and miss a day, you're not 'following the program'. If you think they are going to "help you find a place" then think again. They will simply give you a short list of properties and then youre on your own. You're better off spending $.75 for a newspaper than $200 for this crap.

Pretty cool concept this is!. Pretty cool concept this is! I work about 65 to 70 hours a week and needed to move to a larger apartment since I work out of my home a couple days a week and I was starting to drown in paperwork in my little one bedroom on Arch St. I have no time to search through a bunch of newspapers and 10 different web sites every day so after talking to Ed, one of their reps I signed up right over the phone. He gave me access to their web site and I had password to get in to my own personal site that showed me everything that matched what I was looking for. I looked every morning at 5 AM while I drank my coffee, some days there were a lot of new places to check out, some days not. I liked it because their website gives you all the information about the places so I didn’t even have to waste time calling some of them because they didn’t have exactly what I wanted. I found the perfect place in a little less than a month and finally moved in last week. I love all the room I have, a great city view and all the amenities I needed. This was a fantastic way for me to have a lot of options with no time to search. Will recommend them to my co-workers and friends.

Recommended to me and I would recommend them too. I am a widowed mother of three teenage children. Needless to say money is tight around here. My boss recommended Locators to me because they helped her find a place that was a lot cheaper than she was finding on her own. So I crossed my fingers and signed up for the service. 4 Weeks later we moved into our 3 Bedroom house with a finished attic for my son to have his own space in a nicer part of town than we were before and I am now paying $125.00 less a month than I was before! Maybe we can even get a kitty for the kids now! I don’t ever want to move again but if I do I will absolutely call and use Locators again.

They saved Christmas!. Our Rental house that we lived in was forclosed on and we had to leave. I was freaking out for many reasons but the fact that it is almost Christmas and I wanted our kids in a house and settled was a big priorty! I thought we were going to have to move in with the in-laws for a few weeks (which I REALLY REALLY Didnt want to do! ). Anyway, a friend told me about Locators and I stopped in the Whitehall office. After talking to them I decided to give it a shot. Well she was not kidding when she said they specialized in quick moves! From when I joined them to when we moved into our new place was only 6 days! So the kids are now in their new rooms, the tree is up and as far as I am concerned Locators saved my families Christmas this year.

They are scam artist. I was relocating for a new job, I was told by Andre that this service was a good one and they would put me in a house, that I asked for at. It is a scam. They put ads in the paper stating that they have places for rent but when you pay for the service then they do not have the same places on the weneedtomove website. If you are looking to relocate do not use them. Go to a realitor or search for yourself. This service is a waste of money and the people who work they lie to maintain and explain their lack of competence.
