Refused to fix roof

by geeJr at Citysearch

DO NOT do business with this guy. He did a entire roof for me around $1800. What he failed to tell me that my drain pipe was too small. Also 30% of the roof was incomplete. He claimed he has a 15 year warranty. A few months later when when we had a big storm, I see a waterfall from the back of the roof. There was hundred of gallons of water settling on my roof. The new roof that just installed began to come up by the seams. I called the guy back and he looked at the roof and he had the nerve to ask me whether I was still getting leaks and saw no problem with the current condition of the roof. So I then asked him, why did he do a full assessment of the roof. He said, if I told my customers everything, I would get no business. Beware!!!!

True Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by WooWoo at Citysearch

Amidst all of this rain you'd hope you wouldn't need to worry about a fairly new roof with a warranty in place. Psych! My daughter has attempted to have her leaky roof addressed by C. Williams Roofing (roof is < 5 years old) and she is being told to 'Take me to court'. As the water damage is mounting this man, C. Williams, adamantly refuses to honor the warranty. Rather than using his services throw your money in the street. You'll definitely get better results.

The Worst Roofer Ever, DO NOT USE!!!

by Shakia at Citysearch

DO NOT Patronize this company!! I really don't know where to begin... I decided to hire this roofer after seeing his truck at a Home Depot/Lowes, boy did I make a mistake! Hired this roofer and gave Charles Williams 1/2 the money down to get started. He showed up a day or 2 later with a crew, tore off the old shingles and started working. Well one of the guys decided to place the ladder on the window and broke my newly installed window (never paid for it). After a few days, Charles was M.I.A, and of course the rain starts and no one bothered to cover the roof. We had recently sheet rocked the entire home, needless to say, the 3rd floor was destroyed (did not pay for this). I was livid.. called and called him but did not get an answer. I decided to call another number that one of his workers had given me, and spoke to his mother. After pressing her for answers, she finally told me .."oh, he got locked up." WHAT??? Absolutely ghetto! The roof was finished by his "unskilled" laborers and it is in poor condition. Shingles have fallen off, flashing missing, hips incorrectly installed. etc. I have leaks everywhere and he refuses to do anything about this. I don't even want to give him 1 star, because he doesn't deserve it!!! DO NOT USE, or you will end up in my situation...

Best roofer in town

by jwoodlin at Citysearch

I thought that I just had a liittle leak in my roof but Mr. Williams assessed the situation and let me know that I had all kinds of problems with my roof. He clearly explained to me all of the problems with my roof, gave me a brand new roof the same day and solved my roofing problems!! The price was clearly within my budget. I am so grateful to Mr. Williams and his professional staff for coming to my aid and doing an excellent job. I would recommend him to everyone if you want an A+++ job done. Thanks again Mr. Williams!!
