Hush Salon

Best Philly Salon. No pretention here and that's what I like. As soon as I walked in I felt at ease, no feelings of not being "hip" enough. Just nice people with tons of skill. I am not going to go into great detail, but I highly recommend this place A) For the great haircut I got. I saw Carlos and he cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. I told him what I was looking for and then he gave his opinion of what would work best and did an awesome job fixing my severely mangled tresses. And B) Everyone is nice. I have been to 3 other "highly" rated salons that I found on Yelp and each one was worst than the last. I always felt too uncool in the other places, like my pants weren't tight enough or the cut I wanted wasn't asymmetrical. If you are looking for down to earth people that know how to cut hair then you should give this place a try. A little spendy but well worth it!…

Go see Pam!. I have just moved over from the U.K in May, I had my haircut just before I came over by my friend who has been cutting my hair for 7 years and knows what I like/don't like so I was very nervous about starting again with someone new!

I had put my haircut off for 4 months! Yes 4 months! I was starting to look like a hobo! So I decided to bite the bullet and go for it but didn't know which salon to go to, I didn't want my first hair experience in philly to be a scare cut and have me fleeing back to blighty with my tail between my legs begging my friend to cut my hair and promising to never leave again!



My hubby tearing his own hair out due to the vast amount of moaning from me about where to go and what if I don't like it, what if I have to shave my head straight after my new haircut because I hate it so much took it upon himself (in desperation) and googled the best hair salon in Philly and up popped this little gem of a place on CItysearch and thanks to everyone taking the time to write a review it persuaded me to go with very little hyperventilating.

I totally loved the place, it's very chilled and not overcrowded. A very nice lady called Pam cut my long hair, she really took her time and did exactly what I wanted, I love my hair and I am already hooked!

I have to give credit to my hubby for finding Hush for me and to all the reviews and of course Pam!

Rush to Hush. I am torn between writing this review and keeping this secret all to myself, (even though it’s kind of already out considering they were voted best of Philly!) but since Adrienne and Carlos are rock stars, I want to give them the credit they deserve.

If you want the most natural looking, low maintenance and perfectly placed highlights, you must go to Adrienne. My blonde highlights are so subtle, someone actually asked if it’s my natural color - now that's when you know you found a good colorist. Carlos cut my hair recently and it is hands down the B-E-S-T hair cut I have ever had. My naturally curly/wavy hair has never looked better. Perfect, perfect, perfect layers.

Not only are Adrienne and Carlos phenomenal at doing hair, they are cool too. They are easy to talk to, warm and welcoming and they have their clients’ best interest in mind, truly. And since they have experience working in a nationally know New York salon, you’re getting the New York professionalism and experience at a Philly price. What’s not to love? Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.…

They keep getting it right!. 8 months in and Hush Salon is still the best thing that has ever happened to my hair! Adrienne makes my hair the perfect blonde and Carlos continues to tweak my cut each time so that it never looks tired..always fresh!

I have even taken my daughter (eleven) with me. She went for a back to school cut and highlights...Adrienne gave her the most amazing highlights I have ever seen! Carlos cut her hair so that it falls effortlessly around her face!

Go see them! You will be glad you did...…
