Tips for Bella Medspa

March 08, 2013

You can’t call me a "metrosexual" but I still care for my skin seriously as I believe that an unblemished, healthy, and refreshed skin does a lot to my overall looks and boosts my self-esteem. That’s why when I noticed that age was catching up with me and liver spots, wrinkles, and fine lines had started to appear on my skin, I promptly got an appointment for microdermabrasion at Bella Medspa. I had heard that this is an effective anti aging skin treatment for men and my doctor told that what I knew was right. After assessing my condition, he advised medium depth peels that he told would stimulate collagen formation to plump up the skin, apart from eliminating wrinkles on the skin surface. My doctor was really very efficient as I hardly felt any pain, and the results were beyond my expectation. I highly recommend Bella Medspa, its doctors, and technicians for giving me such good results!

It was 5 years’ ago when I stepped inside Bella Medspa for the first time to get Botox for my face. Being a first-timer, I was not sure what the results would be. But my apprehensions were set to rest soon and my self confidence got a huge boost after the first session. It was just unbelievable how the doctor has knocked 6+ years off of my appearance with the first series of injections and even reduced the visibility of a scar that I had on my outer cheek since my teenage years.

Since then, I have been a regular visitor here to hold onto my youthful appearance with Botox as per recommendations of my doctor. I simple don’t have enough words to thank my doctor in particular and Bella Medspa in general for helping me step out with confidence and in style. I recommend the clinic with 5 stars!

I had a appointment in the Newtown location and everyone was super nice. The place was very clean. I was laid off from my job and had to cancel my appointments and thankfully they were happy to give me my money back. I'm looking forward to going back when I am working again.

Do not go to Bella medspa. I got burned by laser. Went to Bella medspa for laser hair removal. It hurt very badly during the treatment, I told the technician I was in pain and she continued, without turning down the machine. Immediately after my treatment I was in excruciating pain. I then had to ice my face for 4 hours. In the morning I was left with 50 or so purple/brown large spots on my face. I called Bella medspa. They said this does happen and they were sorry. No refund. Nothing. I haven't been able to leave my house. Take my kids to birthday parties because of these marks. I have been informed by a doctor that this will take months of treatment to go away - if it even ever is normal again. This Bella medspa tech did not know what she was doing. Do NOT go to Bella medspa!!!

RE: Duke Jeffries Review. "Duke Jeffries" who posted a review below, is an alias used by the owner of Style Medspa. He has resorted to posting a bogus negative review in an attempt to discredit us here. Search "Style Medspa Allentown" on Yelp to see what people are saying about his place. We're sorry to have to post something like this, but Bella Medspa has every intention of fighting to keep our reputation and name in tact. (FYI Yelp has a much more strict set of guidelines for reviews and therefore eliminates most spam/bogus reviews)

Highly Recommended. I went in for some laser hair removal treatment a couple of weeks ago. I had a great experience during my treatments. The technicians were very friendly and it definitely showed that they knew what they were doing! I recommend Bella to anyone looking for laser hair removal!

BELLA MED SPA WAS THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!. BELLA MED SPA WAS THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!

by ultimateelectric at Citysearch

I was interested in Laser Hair Removal. So I Googled Laser Hair Removal in Pa & found a company by the name of Bella Med Spa. I found their Ad on Google claiming to have a Life Guarantee / Full Guarantee.I'm normally skeptical about services like this but I thought how could I go wrong with a Lifetime Guarantee. Plus I really wanted permanent hair removal for my face for many years now & felt that this was a Perfect Opportunity with the Lifetime Guarantee! So I made an appointment and decided to get laser hair removal to my entire face / ear area for $1435.00. They made me sign a consent form stating that they would not be liable for any burns, hives, discoloring of skin & that the Laser Hair Removal is "Not Guaranteed for a Lifetime!!!, which made me disappointed! It also said that I am Not Guaranteed that all of the hair would permanently be removed to the areas being treated! But I figured that even less than 100% would be acceptable!!! During my 1st session I experienced a lot of pain! The technician would shock my face over and over again with the laser & would smell the burning! During the 2nd session they turned up the power even higher & I was in Extreme Pain! My fists were clinched shut and my toes were curled up. The technician asked if I was ok and I said that I was definitely Not OK! & I never felt pain like that in my life!!! She said that she would have to turn up the laser settings higher before every session. She also said that it was "Common for male patients to interrupt treatments half way through their session due to the Extreme Pain" I thought it was strange that no one mentioned how bad the pain was before I agreed to all this! After my 2nd session my heart was beating very fast and my adrenaline was very high for about 30min during my drive home. On the morning of my 3rd session I took 2 Excedrine Tabs, 2 Ibuprofen Tabs and 3 applications of Lidocain 1hr, 30mins, & 5mins before my session. Again the laser settings were increased and the pain was still Very Extreme! After the 3rd session I was told that I had to pay the final $715.50 dollar balance, so I did! I went home & made an appointment to see my doctor. He prescribed Lidocane 5% + Tetracain 5% Cream & Vicodin Tabs. So on my 4th appointment I took 2 Vicodin Tablets & applied 3 applications of the Lidocain / Tetracain Cream to my entire face, neck, and ear areas. Even though I was very tired from the 2 Vicodin Tablets, the machine was turned up again and the pain was still Extreme! After the 3rd session my face was all swollen & red. I also had acne all over my face & neck After the 4th session my ears had scabs on them and I was bleeding. I was Scared to Death to continue to the 5th treatment, but I didn't want to let over $1400.00 to go down the drain, so I went. Halfway through the 5th session I told the technician to stop, due to torturing myself & seeing no hair removal results; Plus was risking permanently burning of my skin. I spoke to the Manager many times over the phone & she said that I could not be refunded. She said that they Never Refund Money Back! I asked about the Lifetime Guarantee and Full Guarantee posted all over the internet and she said, that is Just Marketing!!! She said that I fully knew about the Extreme Pain by signing the consent form. And I knew that I may not see any Permanent Hair Removal. I would never agree to pay over $1400.00 if I knew that I would see No hair removal and that I was consenting to being Tortured with Extreme Pain! The manager also refused to send me a copy of my signed consent form! So after being tortured, wasting time & money taking off days from work going doctor appointments, paying for prescriptions and traveling to 5 sessions I lost over $1435.50 Plus I still have a Full Beard and am left without Any Hair Removal at All!
