Terrific

So happy I found Jean Madeline Aveda Institute. I recently moved to the area and was in need of a hairstylist. A friend recommended the institute and I couldn't be happier. I was greeted by my stylist and offered tea. The students are learning on real people. My haircut was checked by a licensed teacher. My hair looks great! I'll be back again and again.
ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE

I had the worst hair of my life today. I understand that these are 'students' however I received an unacceptable cut today with unacceptable service. I left with hair in my ears, visible cut lines, and holes in my hair. I swear the girl who cut my hair was blind and had two left hands. She had absolutely no clue what she was doing and was shaking the entire time. Although the prices are affordable, it is NOT worth it.
Never again...
A Treasure

You meet the students, see the attitude, skill, and
commitment to their work. It may take a couple of tries,
but the effort is worth it. I'd recommend that you not get
a haircut until you scout the talent.
The facility is new and well designed. Also, the spa
treatments are a pleasure for a very fair price. I like
the Spa Glow.
- Pros: price, skill of some students, facilities
- Cons: it takes effort to get the best results, but it is worth it
Stay away

The way this school is managed is very disorganized and in my opinion it's corrupt. The administration has totally pulled the wool over the school's owner Mr. Lehman. He has surrounded himself with a bunch of uppity old women who send smoke up his a$$. It's about time the parents of the students who attend this school or who are planning on attending this school - sit up and take note. It will be a waste of your money because your son or daughter will be ignored in class if the school doesn't feel they are the right fit for one of Lehman's salons. There are so many other cosmetology schools within the area. Don't waste your money here.
- Pros: none
- Cons: waste of money
Thanks anyway

I left Jean Madeline feeling confident in my new cut. The girl who did my hair was pleased with the result, as was I, and her supervisor nodded approvingly when he came by.
Whoops.
That afternoon, I had to have friends inform me that my hair was completely jagged in the back! I was disappointed, but figured I could just go back to the salon to get it fixed the next day. WRONG. You sign a waiver beforehand that's supposed to cover Jean Madeline's butt against mess-ups, so they told me I had to PAY AGAIN if I wanted it fixed.
I'm sorry... am I off the rocker? Or did you just lose a customer?
If the salon had agreed to fix the mistake, I would have given four stars because my initial experience was great.
- Pros: Location, price
- Cons: You get what you pay for...
