it would be nice to have varieties of healing sea salts to purchase for home use....jade stones, too. see you all soon, kw
A great way to spend a half-day. A Korean day spa; choice of three hot/warm/freezing cold saunas, steam room, hot charcoal stone room (to sweat out), and nap room. Lockers and cubbies for personal belongings, three full-size showers, free hair conditioner and towels, other items you might need for $1. The best part of this place is the "therapeutic massage" which is essentially a nice, firm shiatsu massage of EXCELLENT quality. In the water room, they also provide lighter massages and awesome body scrubs. They provide cute cotton pink robes for you to move about in, but for the most part, you will be without your clothing (men can wear briefs, I hear). The spa is segmented, so women on one side, men on the other. The cafe is run by an amazing Korean chef, don't miss out on a complete delicious meal for $8, and large fresh juices for only $4. Entrance fee for one day is $10, and $40 for the massage. They even have a gym, so one could really make a day of it. This is not a fancy shi-shi spa, more of a family type place - but very fun and definitely worth a trip.
