Over hype the best part was the wine and friends.. We have heard so many rave reviews of this place, but IMO it is suffering from a case of hype. For $250/couple, plus tip. We could have picked from any number of restaurants and had a meal that would have blown Talula's away. Dont get me wrong, I would recommend a restaurant where the atmosphere is charming and whimsical and the wait staff is very polite but you also have to raise the bar with the meal. The flavor combinations were too experimental and obscure. There was no depth or wow factor among the ten of us and I feel my guests were being polite.

Whether or not the opening of owner, Amy Olexy's new Philly restaurant had anything to do with the lack of quality begs the question. I apologized to my guests and I would prefer to not go back. Craig Laban needs to edit his critique and consider reviewing another meal here.

Delicious. The shop is fabulous, but the restaurant (only one table which seats 8-12 people a night) is out-of-this-world and well worth the necessity of reserving a year in advance. Book it for a special occasion and enjoy the best meal you will ever eat.
