An artist is an artist.... So I am one of those loyal clients who paid top dollar in a top of the line salon who's name ( of which I will not mention) was just cool to say. I really wanted to love my color and didn't really want to give up on the colorist I used for a very long time of whom I needed to book with 8 weeks in advance as if my own schedule isn't busy enough! The problem was my hair color wasn't great anymore and I knew it. I stopped hearing the usual compliments and started seeing the inconsistency and missed spots. After giving my colorists the benefit of the doubt... THREE TIMES I said done which brings me to Bruce Slemmer at Beans Beauty on Chestnut. After a lengthy consultation which was impressive all by itself I decided to give him a shot. People raved about his mad genius approach although still skeptical I let the artist do his thing. All I can say is that after 4 hours of corrective color and 100 or so foils later I am not happy but estatic with my color.
