Grim, with a side of Hoboken.. I went there with two of my friends for a private party. Our experience is summed up in the word, "grim." The location leaves plenty to be desired, next to a strip mall and practically right below a highway. Walk in, and be greeted by a woefully uninspired decor and a waitstaff that seems doleful and sorry to be there. The drinks were very uneven. Cosmos and apple martinis were sickly sweet and not a trace of alcohol could be detected in them. It was as though they'd bought martini mix from the supermarket. Gin and tonics were perfectly serviceable, however.

The clientele were certainly dressed with the intent to impress, but were less than thrilling, all in all. Honestly, I could not in good faith encourage anyone that I care about to walk into the Penthouse Lounge and Grille. It was depressing and utterly charmless. We hightailed it out of there just as fast as we could.
