Best hairstylist. Joey is the best hairstylist I've ever had. He listened to me when I first came to him for a cut. I have him carte blanche and loved the cut. The cut developed into a highlight & cut as I got older and grayer. Now, I'm into the full blown color...the grays took over. He broke it to me gently..."uh, you need to think about a full color next time. You can't get away with just highlights anymore." Yes, on top of a being a great hair stylist, he is hysterical. My hours sitting in the chair are entertaining. I hate maintaining my hair, but Joey makes my trip well worth it. He also does such a good job matching my color that I don't have to do much maintenance. He is simply the best!

Rinse Salon is awesome!. I went here on Friday to get my hair cut. My layers had grown out and I just needed something fresh and new. My appointment was with Michelle and she listened to what I wanted to do as well as made suggestions of what she thought would look good when I asked her. I have rarely had a good haircut and style, and I must say this one is amazing! I have received so many compliments and am so happy with my new style. Michelle was so nice and thoughtful and took the time to do it right! I highly recommend that you try Rinse Salon and make an appointment with Michelle, you will not be disappointed!

Best hair salon- ever!. Rinse is a fantastic salon, not only because all of the stylists are true professionals, but beacuse you feel like you are going to meet your friends while you are there. Joey Rose has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost four years now, and I have never been happier with a stylist, as I have been with Joey. Joey has the ability to capture your personality with the hair cut and choosing a color. I easily trust Joey to select a color and cut that works with my style, and look forward to seeing him every time to see what he'll create next! Joey takes his time to listen to what you want, and also uses his expertise to make sure that the hair cut and color works with your facial structure and coloring. Not only is Joey a professional, but Joey is not pretentious in the slightest, and I always feel as if I'm Joey's only client when I'm there. Joey makes you feel that you are an important client each time, and never rushes through an appointment. I also always enjoy our conversations and enjoy seeing Michelle, Kaite, and Nicole as well. I followed Joey from other salons and couldn't be happier that he now has his own salon. I'd follow him anywhere. The environment of Rinse is also calming and cosy, so I always leave feeling relaxed and in an excellent mood. If you're looking for a salon to get an amazing cut and color, as well a place where you feel important and listened to, Rinse is the salon for you.

A cut above the rest. I was never keen on going to salons to get my hair done, but the moment Michele cut and colored my hair, I was hooked! The salon itself is inviting and calm, their level of service is great, and the stylists are always welcoming and friendly. The salon experience with Michele was like going to a good friend to get your hair done: she listened to my concerns and wants as we discussed what I wanted, she was talkative and interesting, and definitely developed an environment that I keep coming back for almost a year later. From the beneficial referral service to the neighborhood atmosphere to the amazing color job she does, she has transformed my hair into something I very often get complimented on, and wear down with pride. I am excited for my upcoming appointment, and completely trust her to cut/color/style me as she feels would look best on me.

A dream come true!. I was looking for a salon that has a personality, but that respects and works with yours - not one of those great big barn-like company salons that gives everyone the latest Victoria Beckham 'do! And I found it at Rinse - it's small and super friendly - none of the arrogance of other Rittenhouse-area salons. Michelle cut my hair, and I LOVE it! It's never looked better, she listened to everything that I said (I'm a classical musician so I need something cute but still classic - this was really important to me and she totally understood) and what's more is she actually explained to me how to style it - I can't be the only one who knows that this is music to a girls' ear! The atmosphere made me feel completely comfortable, which is important because it can be hard to say exactly what you want if you feel you're being herded through like cattle. The hair mousse that I got there is AWESOME - no more searching aimlessly for something that works in CVS! Being from the UK (where a good haircut can be very expensive), I didn't think Rinse was too expensive - my cut was $60, and I gave a healthy tip because I was so happy :)

Def. the best for hair in the city. LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone is so talented here, I actually used to go to Katie while she was at another salon in the city and was happy to finally see her again- however, I let Michelle do my hair now and I could not be happier. Very relaxed, super friendly, cozy, not stuffy at all and everyone that works here knows exactly what they are doing. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else.

the only salon i'll ever go to. I get excited about going to see my girls and Joey. Its like a night out that I have planned and anxiously await to go to! Not only do I walk out feeling like a super model but Im so happy that I got the chance to spend time with my friends. I love taking the time to recap all the going ons in our lives over the last 9wks(or so) while getting "pretty"! Ive followed Katie for the last several years, and there is a reason.......she really knows how to color some hair! Im a real plain jane, except I like to have nice hair! She has always given the hair that fits my lifestyle and who I am. No frills please! She is pleasant as peaches and a true expert. They all take pride at what they do. If your looking for great hair, great price and and easy going place then this is where you go. Not uptight, very clean and pleasant. Oh, and the best thing of all, no one touches my hair but my hairdresser! I always hated when there were 4 different people in one place rubbing, drying, washing, combing......pulling my hair! Each one of them does the entire job......hence the great prices and excellent end result. Dont get it twisted though, this is top shelf everything not one corner cut.

I love REAL people and Rinse has the best of them. Its not just a hair salon to me, its become a place that I just end up leaving with my hair done. Go and you will keep coming back!

I love this place!!!. I'm not usually the type to write online reviews, but I feel as though I must here, as I found Joey Rose several years ago by reading some stellar reviews. Joey is a true hair professional, he is very talented and understands hair very well. He has a wonderful ability to listen to a client's requests and explain what is realistic and possible. I came to him several years ago with hair that was very damaged after a bad thermal reconditioning treatment. I put my trust in him and now have the long healthy hair I've craved all my life.

The salon has an easy and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone on staff is very friendly and pleasant. I never cared for the pretentious, uptight feel of some other salons and Rinse has non of that; just a cool, easy place to get your hair done. Try it, you'll love it!!!

Joey Rose is FABULOUS!. I found Joey through Citysearch when he was working at another salon. I have fine, curly hair and was in desperate need of a new stylist. There were tons of great reviews about Joey. At the time I lived in Bucks County and drove into the city to try Joey. One visit and I was hooked. He is a conscientious, friendly, down to earth, patient, etc. perfectionist. His new salon (Rinse) is cozy, warm, and nicely decorated. The receptionist and other stylists are so friendly. The atmosphere is so relaxed. As other customers have stated, there is no high pressure here and Joey takes plenty of time on each of his customers and handles you from start to finish. I will never go anywhere else. I now live in West Palm Beach, FL., and I still come back to Philly to have Joey take care of me. Well, I don't actually fly up just for a cut and color :o). It's more like I plan my visits back home around when I need to see Joey :o). He's the BEST!!!!

The best salon in center city. Joey Rose is an excellent stylist and I've been following him around to different salons for years now. I love how he stays with me through the entre process from color to wash to cut to dry and doesn't let anyone else touch my hair. I love that he stayed true to his perfectionist nature and didn't succumb to the pressure of creating a hair factory like most center city salons. I love that he is so down to earth, doesn't wear head to toe black, and has pictures of his stray animals in the salon. I love that the salon has a relaxed atmosphere and that all the stylists and the receptionist are so friendly. My husband thinks I'm crazy for driving an hour into the city now that we in the 'burbs to get my hair cut, but I am a loyal Joey Rose fan and of course i would support his newest venture!
