Events Don't Live Up to What Was Promoted. Attended many of their events. Yes, they usually attract a decent number of "average joe" singles -- far from the beautiful people and certainly not at all upscale -- but they have consistently engaged in false advertising, such as saying the event will have a buffet of gourmet hors d'oeuvres when all that materializes is a few trays of pita bread and dip. (So eat before you go, no matter what the promo says!) They'll advertise that they're giving away a door prize of an all-expenses paid vacation and then, as happened with their New Years '09 event, only once you've paid and shown up at the venue do they tell you that they're giving only one trip in total to attendees of all their parties in multiple cities throughout U.S. and Canada. If you simply don't want to hang out alone, there will be other human beings at their events, so if company is all you seek, MMA is fine. Just be warned that their descriptions to get you to sign up are filled with fluff, exaggerations and, at times, outright lies.

Meet Market Adventures Philadelphia. Better known as MMMA I am no told!

I found Meet Market Adventures on line looking for something fun to do. I am new to the area and really want to get out and about.

They have everything you would want to do, From the cold evenings where you can play board games, to tasting and learning how to make different drinks, bowling, fencing to the outside fun of tubing, skiing ,ice skating. I went on the pub crawl through Philly city on a school bus I haven?t laughed so hard in a while. I plan on doing the Scavenger Hunt and they have this canopy tour sounds fun as well........ So much to do....

The reps were great very welcoming and you didn?t feel like you are single and desperate, they played fun ice breakers through out the crawl so you did get to mix with everyone and they were silly but well worth it :)

Everyone I have met through Meet Market Adventures has been so friendly, I am actually meeting up with some of them on the weekend, may be I will make a team for the Scavenger Hunt!

Well worth the adventure.

Best way to meet singles in Philly. I have never had so much fun in my life! I was very tentative about trying this out, but I decided to go ahead because I love kayaking and figured even if I don't meet someone I'll have fun kayaking anyway. When I got there my heart was pounding as I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. I was met by the MMA staff member with a smile and checked in for the Kayaking event. We then played an icebreaker game that I initially thought was silly, but then found myself talking freely with everyone there that day. I was no longer nervous, I had already met some really cool people and wasn't even kayaking yet. The kayaking itself was awesome abd the day more fun than I ever expected! I VERY highly recommend Meet Market Adventures. I have already signed up for several more adventures and can't wait to meet more cool people.

Really Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1. Great place to meet fun people. I went on one of their outdoor trips and met really cool people. Great for outdoors, and activities.
