love the work-out , hate the smelly dog. I liked everything about the work-out, although the place could be a little cleaner, What I really couldn't stand is how the owner had he's dog running around all over the place not some little dog, a golden retriever.... I find that simply awful, I don't like dogs and am also allergic, Keep your smelly dog at home.... I had a hairdresser who used to bring her 2 big dogs to the salon, she lost lot's of people....
great concept but.... i never really felt comfortable there. i hated that the weren't any shower facilities, and i thought some of the staff was pretentious. one coach made fun of me for using light weights, and i didn't want to go back! i wish other gyms had classes like this, because i liked the idea of it, but the staff kept me from going back (and the price -- it's pretty steep!)
I read all of the reviews below before trying Fusion and I have to admit that I was somewhat apprehensive walking in for the first time. Based on the negative comments below I was afraid that because I am a beginner when it comes to fitness training (that is my nice way of saying I'm chubby) that I would be treated differently that the more athletic members. But, I decided to give it a try...I am completely hooked!! The staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They encourage your progress and motivate you to keep it challenging, whether you are a beginner or advanced.
The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful, the workouts are great, and the atmosphere is nice...what more can you ask for?
Antithesis of Pretentious and Rude! Super Awesome Friendly Nice Gym - the Staff is GREAT!. I'm not sure if the reviewer below walked in on a really bad day? The gym is AMAZING. The people are so nice, the coaches there truly care if you're making progress, getting a good workout, and enjoying yourself when you go there. Everybody knows everyone's name there - how can that be pretentious? I give it 5 stars; I have been going since June and just bought at 6 month membership - it's the best. They have a free trial so don't just judge by what's written here, if you're truly motivated to find an excellent workout in Center City do the trail thing - you'll find that it's NOT pretentious and no one there is rude to anyone.
SO PRETENCIOUS, THE STAFF IS RUDE , WILL NEVER GO BACK. I WENT TO THE WRONG PLACE. AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS SNOBBY, UPTIGHT ATMOSPHERE.VERY BAD SERVICE

Best efficient, energizing, and fun workout.
Fusion is exactly what I've been waiting for in Philadelphia! As a professional, many nights the last thing I have the energy for is planning a workout and forcing myself through it. Fusion does it all for me; and with the group environment and good music, the energy just flows!
Also, as a triathlete, I need something that will still challenge me. Fusion is one of the few group workouts that I truly can adjust up to my level while some of my...less athletic friends can tune down to their's. It's also perfect as the cold comes in and I need to make myself train in the winters.
It's a great compliment to any gym or athletic regiment! It's truly unlike anything else in the city and is VERY ADDICTIVE! (but in a good way)
a really unique concept and an awesome work-out!. I was looking for a gym that would motivate me to actually keep coming back (as I normally get quite bored working out indoors) and this is definately it! The studio has a really great, relaxed, almost zen-like feel to it. This feeling completely dissipates once you get into the cardio room however, where you can feel the energy rising. The red lighting and the intense, fast paced music get you revved and moving as the instructor guides you through a series of cardio intervals (on a bike or treadmill). You really feel your muscles burning (already!) after the 25 minute sequence. Then it's off to lift some weights- you work at your own pace and with your own resistance, but the rest of the class and instructor motivate you to push your self to the limit. Then when your muscles have had enough it's a half hour of much welcome stretching in the form of core-strengthening yoga exercises. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every muscle was sore the next day but even so I couldn't wait for the next class. Don't be intimidated- there are different levels for different fitness levels. Each time the classes are different and each instructor has his or her own style. If you're looking for a work out that's really fun and VERY effective at a great price I highly recommend trying Fusion!
Full Body Fitness. This new gym is based on a fantastic concept. It helps you create a balance of building cardio, strength and flexibility in a way that is fun and easy. My friends and I have been going for a few weeks now, and the classes are a great fit for our range of abilities. I'm amazed at how much more energy I have, and how relaxed I feel after workouts. The facilities are beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend getting in there now before classes fill up!
"Simply Superb". I love it. I encourage anyone who's looking for a gym; look no further. There is nothing like FUSION anywhere. The price is really affordable and well worth it for the classes being offered. I love having my very own personal trainer to guide and push me beyond my limits. My friends and I are completely hooked. Its all about you at Fusion. Gavin and his staff are just great! The members are friendly, focused, they encourage eachother during classes. Fitness at its best!
