Awesome Tapas. the food was delicious! the prices were very reasonable and the portions are adequate. We left stuffed. My father-in-law is from Spain and we are looking to go back again soon and treat him to a little home-away-from-home cooking.

FINALLY....authentic and affordable tapas in Philly!. Just went here for the first time last Friday, and I will definitely be back! I've been waiting for years for a more authentic & affordable tapas place to open in Philly, and I think this is it. I love Amada and everything, but the super-trendy atmosphere and jacked up prices most certainly do NOT make for an authentic tapas experience like I remember in Spain-- Isla Ibiza comes much closer to the real thing. The jamon y queso plate was excellent, as were the scallops, mussels, and croquetas de bacalao. Sangria was very good as well-- not too sweet like I've had at some places. Waitstaff was polite and extremely attentive. I can't wait to go back to try some other items on the menu-- maybe next time I'll go after 10pm, when they offer $5 tapas and $2.50 sangria!

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Authentic Spanish tapas and entrees on the first floor and a hip, sleek lounge on the second makes this a NoLibs gem.

Excellent tapas, friendly staff, romantic atmosphere, great value!. Chef Veloso previously did his culinary magic at Cuba Libre. Now he is showing his creativity with Spanish tapas. We've been to Isla Ibiza three times and can't wait to go back. Chorizo, mussels, and octopus were all outstanding! Lots of nightly specials, too. The house sangria is addictive. And, prices are very reasonable, unlike two other tapas restaurants that opened this year. The narrow front dining room is very romantic. We love this place!
