Not happy with product or service.
Firstly I had to do a rush order and they promised to get the order in on time. They didn't. However, the owner was a good guy and paid for shipping. Then the $356 fan I bought (I actually bought two, only one worked...) needed replacing. The fan was installed by an electrician in an awkward location for me to get to. BrightLight gave no assistance, no follow-through other than to simply give me the name of another electrician to take it down and replace it.
That electrician wasted my time - I promise to come over at this time, I'll call you tomorrow blah blah blah. Meanwhile, $356 wasted. So I order another fan while I wait for the electrician to come over, go to BrightLights, they tell me I have to BUY the replacement until i return the defective one. i explain the electriaion THEY recommened is causing the delays... too bad they say. I trust them with advance payment of the fan, they don't trust me... They take no interest once they have your payment and have done nothing to help me resolve this farce despite the fact that I've called them several times asking them if there are other options. "No, sorry, we're just a dealer, you'll have to talk to Emerson about this..." thanks for nothing...
I guess if you've made it down this far you can guess I'm not the one who gave them the thumbs up.... Tired of people who won't stand by what they sell.
Best Lighting Degin Center on the East Coast!. I have always been thoroughly satisfied at both the layout and service at the Bright light Design Center. They are second to none when it comes to lighting know how. Thank goodness I chose them instead of going to a home center. The prices are very competitive but you actually get what you need and learn how to bring together many different types of lighting and dimming. Also, they have tons of great accessories and accents.
