Worst Service In My Life. Dining at Mimosa's was the worst dining experience of my life. It was painful and frustrating. We were shown to our table by the waitress, there was no hostess. We were ignored for 30 minutes and had to ask the waitress to help us. It took 90 minutes to get our soup. The food was good, not great when it finally arrived! It took so long, we had forgotten what we ordered. The coffee was cold and served with skim milk. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
Excellent food, very attentive service.
We had a wonderful evening at Mimosa. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs, made great suggestions and was just great. We started off with appetizers of the duck confit quesadillas and the littleneck clams with bacon. Both appetizers were very flavorful and wonderful. We had the cheese plate as well. We enjoyed the wide varieties of cheese presented (about 5 kinds), complete with bread, candied nuts and sliced apples. Excellent presentation and taste.
For our entrees, we had the Zarzeula (Spanish stew made with seafood) and the Risotto Primavera with shrimp. Both entrees were well presented and terrific. The bread served with dinner was excellent. We did not save any room for dessert, which was a miscalculation on our part. So often the desserts are run of the mill and not worth the calories, however, Mimosa's dessert tray was quite worthy. We were too full, so our on return trip, we will certainly pace ourselves to try out their desserts. We recommend this restaurant.
