Don't use this service. It sounds good, seems very easy but you see the SAME PROPERTIES every, single day. I've been with them three weeks and the list hasn't changed AT ALL. all they do is periodically update the dates on their listings to make them look new. In order to get a refund you have to look at the listing at least three times a week every week for three months to show you "used the service". It's a crock, don't waste your money. wish I hadnt!

We were looking to get in a better neighborhood because the kids were starting to get older and we wanted a better “Group” of kids for them to hang out with out. We were living in Kensington and since my wife’s job requires that she live in Philadelphia, we decided the Northeast was the area best to raise a family after researching it for a while. We registered with Locators since a buddy of mine had used them two different times successfully. I was not interested in searching through the madness of Craig’s list. Since we were so particular with the neighborhood that we wanted to live in, it took a little over a month to find what we wanted. We ended up renting a house in Rhawnhurst that fits the bill completely. The wife is happy, the kids are safer and that makes this Dad thankful.

So…… I found myself living on my friends couch when my husband and I spilt up, unexpectedly I might ad! Needless to say, I needed a place right away, like that day. The woman I spoke to at Locators was so nice, I was crying, I was cursing, I was a mess. She listened, got me to stop crying and said “ I can help you”. She told me they had places available for immediate rental and the day I signed up with them, I signed a lease on a little 2 bedroom in a Victorian in West Chester. So my life is still a mess, but at least I have a place to call home. If you need to move today, call them.

I was looking for a very unique place to live. I am an artist and work from home and need a relaxing and inspirational place to set up my studio. They told me that their specialty was finding just the kind of place I was looking for. The first month, they did have some interesting rentals but nothing that was just right for me. On my 5th week with them, I found the place just like what I had envisioned. It’s a 2 Bedroom old carriage house with big old willow trees around it and a creek out back. The ceilings have the really cool exposed wooden beams & the front door is mostly stained glass! The main bedroom which is what I will use for my studio is huge and the view looks right out to the creek. I can’t wait to start painting in my new place and know that the perfect living and creation space will inspire me much more than where I have been the last few years. Thank you, thank you, thank you Locators !

I signed up with Locators because my sister in law had used them a few years ago and said they had rental homes that she never saw advertised anywhere else. Since I was not finding anything that I liked in the Daily Times or on Craigs list which is just a nightmare to use! Well she was right! I still didnt find anything I liked the few times I went to their sight online but after about 3 weeks I did and signed a lease for a place in Ridley Park that is perfect, the landlord is willing to do a Rent to own after a year and we are hoping to own this place within five years. Thanks Megan at Locators for helping me with my technical challenges

I absolutely recommend using this company! My company transferred me to Philadelphia from Cleveland, OH. I had 2 weeks notice to move my entire life and find a place to live or lose the promotion chance since it needed to be filled immediately. I saw a Locators ad on Craig’s list and they told me their company was perfect for me because I could set up appointments to see the places before I arrived in Philadelphia. I just contacted the places that were available immediately so the day after I arrived I had 5 appointments’ to look at places. The third place I went to see was just what I was looking for and even reminded me of my old place back in Cleveland! I was only stuck living in a hotel for 3 days and am now happily living in my new Center City apartment, not that I see it often since the new job is insane!

I contacted Locators in July and used my credit card to sign up with them. Was promised rental properties within my price range and properties that would accept one dog.

Stated to them the areas that I was interested in. The computer listings were horrible-not in the areas I had specified and same listings from week to week. Very rude and hard to reach. Several of the landlords that I contacted had never heard of Locators and stated that they would be calling them to complain.

Contacted my credit card company and after a dispute between Locators and the credit card company, the credit card company credited my account in September. Save your money and go through reputable real estate companies that also offers rental properties.

hi, i was looking to leave my apartment in flmngtn in april and i kept seeing

the same ads pop up on crgslst for low rent/all utilities included, so after

seeing 3 or 4 i liked, i called locators inc.

i was angry that the man on the fone talked so much.

i slept on it and fought racing myself back to him agreeing to pay $169.

for 1 month i received 15 listings per day. 99% of them were WAY out

of my price range and about half were in trenton which is mostly black(homied

out).

also, i kept seeing the same ads pop up on crgslst and they were not on

the current listings for subscribers!

GOD BLESS MARK HUNTER!!!!. I don't know how anyone can badmouth Locators....First of all Mark Hunter was our agent and he was a blessing...a true blessing!!! We have been looking for some time for a place to no avail....Both my Wife and I have credit issues and no landlords would give us the time of day....So on a whim we called Locators, Mark was very intuitive to our needs and really made the whole process a delight...We found a place 6 days after we signed up...Yes you have to request property updates, yes you have to call the landlords....SO WHAT!!! Everyone that is crying saying how bad Locators is apparently didn't have the pleasure of dealing with Mark and even more apparent didn't do as you was instructed to ensure you would receive all possible property updates....WE DID AND MOVED IN 6 DAYS!!!!! CALL THEM AND TRY TO GET MARK@ EXT#603......THANKS AGAIN....WE LOVE YOU MARK!!!! :-)

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!. DO NOT USE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! None of them promising places in the newspaper for locators will be there when you sign up. Any of them you see will never show up. They won't refund you if you find a place without using their service like they say they do. Locators will not call you back when you try to discuss getting the refund with them. Don't listen to them when they say you have to follow it like they want you to. All that means is you have to ask for an updated list EVERY day. So if you have a life and miss a day, you're not 'following the program'. If you think they are going to "help you find a place" then think again. They will simply give you a short list of properties and then youre on your own. You're better off spending $.75 for a newspaper than $200 for this crap.
