Divine Diamond Salon and Spa.
By far, the best manicure and pedicure I've ever received. Regardless of who provides the service, the results are consistently excellent and I love the massage that comes with each service. The ambience is beautiful and relaxing and the women who provide the services are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Diamond Salon and Spa.
Great Value for Nails.
Diamond Spa is clean, well-ventiliated and totally pleasant place to have your nails done. The basic manicure or pedicure involves massage and hot stones and has never been painful, no matter which technician has serviced me. People complain about the prices, but it's less than I paid downtown, and I can walk to the place. (For those of you not walking, there's quite a bit of free parking in Chestnut Hill). I did have my eyebrows waxed here once and regretted it -- they seem to like the "crew-cut" approach. Took weeks to grow out and look normal. All in all it's one of my favorite places.
Great Massages, Nails Okay, but RUN from the bikini wax.
A friend turned me onto this spa and I was pleasantly surprised. Roy gave me a better massage than I ever got at either 3000 BC or Spa Elysium. The nails are fine but DO NOT get a bikini wax here. I made the mistake of trying this out. First, the woman did not leave the room while I undressed. Second, no lotion before the wax. Third, no paper panty. Fourth, sloppy lines on wax, not really thorough and (fifth) she used a set of tweezers that I am still praying were clean. Save yourself, learn from my mistake, avoid the bikini wax at all costs.
Best Mani and Pedi.
I discovered Diamond 2 years ago while I was pregnant. The reason I chose the salon is based on the fact their pedicure chairs are tubeless which to me is more sanitary. During this time I was really squimish about going to the usual places. The basic pedicure includes hot stones, hot towels and the ambiance is by far the best. There is no wait upon arrival. They provide a selection of coffee and tea. On one occasion there was pizza for the clients. Now that I live outside of the city, I drive 40+ miles to get to Diamond. The products are also great, not the usual watered down lotions I have found at other places. The basic manicure includes a massage of your shoulders with hot stones. The best service and worth every dime. I referred over 5 people who were extremely happy. You definitely get what you pay for here..
fabulous foot massage/manicure.
It's pricey but I got the best hot stone foot massage with my pedicure! So the 2 services are worth the price of admission! Plus they have comfy chairs with built in back massage and flat screen TVs to watch. The atmosphere is very upscale but not at all snooty. After the massage I like to shop in Chestnut Hill and grab sushi at Osaka!
The best pedicure I have ever had, including a hot stone foot massage!.
A friend recommended Diamond Spa, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I have been to many spas for pedicures. Diamond is the only place that does hot stone and aromatherapy massage as part of the standard package. The people are incredibly nice, the service is great and oh, those smooth hot stones on the soles of your feet and calves. GREAT place.
