Cupcakes are delectable!. As an LA transplant, Sprinkles was my haven for cupcakes. However, Brown Betty definitely does her cupcakes right. The red velvet - something I dearly missed from LA - are fantastic!

Appaling Service. I've visited this location and the cupcakes are good. The problem is the service is so deplorable that you never want to come back. If you do return, you try to hold your comments about the "you should be grateful we are serving you" attitude. No one smiles or greets you. When you ask for a box, they barter with you like you are at an auction. Here's a tip: Include it in the price! No one is friendly and while you are ordering, they seem to ruch you through as if there is a line waiting or they have some place to go. I won't be going back , even though the cupcakes are good. Yes, they are good, but definitely will send you to the bathroom a few times. A lot of people have spoke with me about the lack of service and blame it on the owner. A word to the wise, get rid of your entire staff and hire better people. The job isn't that hard! I wouldn't even give this place a rating, but since I cannot submit it without one, here's a charity star.

Good Cupcake--Horrible Service. Absolute best cup cake I ever have eaten, however, the customer service is the absolute worst. No greeting, no smiling, it is the typical "I am doing you a favor by even assisting you attitude."

Don't you understand that if you improve your customer service skills, your business will even be more succesful. Go to some of the family owned bakeries in South Philly and get some lessons on how to treat your customers.

Excellent....well worth the trip!!. Co-Worker turned me on to Brown Bettys and WHOW so gald he did. They cup cakes and cakes are excellent. I recommend ordering the "Almond Pound Cake" cupcake or cake, it is sooo good! I don't think they sell them in the case need to order, but well worth it. I don't eat chocolate but my other co-workers rave about the Red Velvet Cupcakes. I reciently bought a dozen for a friends birthday and she fell in love to. One note you MUST order 48 hours in advance, that is the only draw back. Also, you can walk in and buy cupcakes but you are limited to what flavors they sell that day, with a limit to how many you can buy. Yes, it is a little extra, however, the product is well worth it. Best in Philly, without a doubt.

The absolute worste customer Service in philadlephia. The Cakes are delicious, but the attitude you get from the workers... is not worth it. The have bad hours, bad prices and a bad attitude. I recommend Mc Millans in Westmont NJ...it's so worth the drive. I'm telling everyone I know that when my partner tried to order cupcakes for the next day, the woman told him, "he should just go to Acme" (after she offered to give him raw batter and cook them at home) nice huh? I say they can keep their attitude and cupcakes. All he wanted was 2 or 3 dozen cupcakes and he gave them more than a 24 hour time frame. They are are trash

Awesome cupcakes. I think I've tried almost every kind they have and they've all been phenomenal. Good thing I don't live in the neighborhood or else I probably would have a full-on addiction (and the pounds to show for it). Can't wait to try their other desserts.

Delicious!. Excellent cupcakes including the chocolate/chocolate and sour cream vanilla, both of which are some of the best in the city. Also extremely good are the red velvet cupcakes. The soft sugar cookies are a bit of a disappointment, however, as they are not all that sweet, and the coconut cake's icing did not taste as good as you'd expect. Stick to the other choices and you will be very happy. There is also a nicely furnished area featuring a comfy couch if you want to enjoy your food there, as they serve all items on china with silverware.

Amazing!. On my first trip to this shop I was most impressed. I went in on a Thursday and needed a cake for the following Monday. They are closed on Monday and Sunday was a holiday but they agreed to meet me on Monday and make the cake! You won't find service like this anywhere else. And the sweets?! Gosh! Simply amazing. I went with a friend, so no, I didn't eat all this alone...but we had a Hattie cupcake (choc. cake with rich choc. frosting - also make a cake like this)...the cookies were amazing...also the Sour Cream cupcake was really good. Best I've had in Philly!
