This place is a rip off!. The "sushi" here is frightening. I ate here on a Monday night and the chefs were speaking Spanish. Obviously, their native food was not Japanese or Asian, and no one has taught them how to make a real maki roll. My Dragon Roll looked like a tiny supermarket roll with a thin slice of eel balanced on top. Actually, it tasted worse than supermarket sushi. I also had vegetable Udon, which was awful. There were hardly any vegetables in it. At $14.50, it was way overpriced too. I would recommend walking around the corner and going to Fuji Mountain, where the rolls are decent and you won't feel ripped off. This place is just horrendous.

Great sushi, relaxed atmosphere, cool owner. My fiance and I live a few blocks from this place and like to walk over during the week with bottle of wine and a couple of cold beers (BYOB's are awesome, aren't they?).

The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. We get completely full on delicious appetizers & sushi for usually no more than $40. I won't say this is necessarily the best sushi I have ever eaten, but for the price it is superb. And I have certainly spent more on worse.

Jay (I think that's his name) is a relaxed South Korean guy that always has a glass of wine or champagne with us when we eat at the sushi bar. The quality of his staff varies somewhat. The last time we ate there our waitress was a pretty young woman that was rather salty at first because she was annoyed we asked the front door be propped open. By the end of the meal she had warmed up to us and was telling us about her hometown in S. Korea and the circumstances under which she immigrated to the USA when she was 11.

I think her name was Susan.... she was great.

Overall, one would have a hard time finding better sushi for the price. I don't think anybody, except the most fastidious diners, would be disappointed.

Great, Cheap Sushi. The interior of this restaurant is nothing to holler at but the sushi sure is. It's very good and quite cheap. A definite yes.

Great sushi in an unassuming setting. My husband and I have gotten sushi here several times and we really like it. We are glad to see that business is hopping these days. Unfortunately the interior is rather drab and unassuming, so you don't really go there for the decor or ambiance, just really good sushi. It's BYOB too, which is also a plus.
