Don't waste your money here. Atmosphere was nice. Open and modern looking. Wondered why it was empty though at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Now I know why ? the service is mediocre at best and the food terrible. Tasteless and forgettable. Steak was overly salty; chicken tasted like they just poured a bottle of lemon juice on top to give it flavor; baked potato and veggies under cooked. February 2009
Great place to eat anytime, anyday. Service was impeccable. Our waiter, Stacey was very kind, prompt, and exceeded every expectation we had. We wanted for nothing as our sever beat us to the finish line, like bringing us refills without ever needing to as, butter and sour cream for our baked potatoes, etc... i also happened to be in there at the time another table was in there. They had soup to nuts, then complained about a wait for an hour when the dinner was preceeded by 3 courses. I heard them plot about how they were getting full and sending the food back. I witnessed the entire transfer how the owner called them on sending back food that they never touched. It's sad when white trash tries to ruin the reputation of a great restaurant. They complained that they had 2 coupons and the owner said only 1 applied too the bill per the instructions on their coupon. needless to say, it went downhill from their. Go there, be wowed by top notch service, see for yourself, and ignore the eternally stupid people who tried to pull a fast one and got kicked out. Best steak, best crab cakes.period.
Rude And Slow Service, Mediocre And Overpriced Food.
For a restaurant that's almost always empty, even at peak weekend hours (a total of only three occupied tables, including ours), you might wonder why it would take almost an hour for our meals to arrive. To call this restaurant's service incompetent would be an insult to incompetents everywhere. And don't bother complaining to the "manager/owner:" He's just a short-order cook with an attitude.
Anyway, I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to wait forever for your food, and then be treated to some lip from the owner/manager if you dare to complain. Sure, I can understand that the guy?s upset because his business is going to hell in a hand basket. But why take out his frustrations on the few customers who are willing to wait and wait and wait for his mediocre overpriced food?
