BEST brunch in the city! I would highly reccomend for brunch! The staff is super friendly and food is the best I've had for brunch! I've never actually been here at night for the "bar scene" but I bet that's fun and chill too.

Nice local spot, great atmosphere. I frequent the Sidecar, as I live in the neighborhood. It has a great atmosphere that makes you not want to leave. When I go "just for dinner and a drink," I often wind up staying until after midnight. There are some great drink specials, unique beers from local breweries, and reasonably-priced mixed drinks.

The menu is solid and creative, too...a step up from the usual bar menu. Although, I think they may have gotten a new chef because the food lately hasn't been up to par. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than most bar food, but recently it hasn't blown me away like it usually does.

by far my favorite bar in Philly. Very reasonable prices, great music, a great staff, cool design...all around great bar. The PW reviewed Sidecar as having the friendliest bar staff in the city, and it really does. The menu is fantastic and Southern inspired and has a great revolving selection of interesting specials.

The beer selection really has something for everyone. From the bottom of the barrel (Reading Premium- basically PBR, but local, which is nice) all the way up to various sophisticated "grown up" beers.

It can be pretty hipster, but the crowd is a lot more diverse then most similar bars.

Delicious burger!. My boyfriend and I have tried a lot of the burgers in Philly, and this is definitely in our top 2. We had the burger with ham on it, and it was just... amazing. Delicious blend of flavors, juicy and *perfectly* cooked, good amount of toppings, very tasty bun... the ideal burger experience. The fries were pretty good, and the sausage/rice/beans dish was just ok, but overpriced. Good beer selection. The neighborhood is a bit off-putting, but this is a fun place. It gets really crowded, and you will probably have to wait for a table outdoors.

Good beer selection and okay bar food.. This place is relaxed, well priced, and is great because we bring our dog, sit outside and have a late-night beer. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The beer is great the food is fine (not outstanding - but it will do when you don't feel like cooking and don't want to spend a lot of money). I wouldn't cross town for the bar but its great to have in the neighborhood.

cool owners, soul music, nice prices, superb beer selection, tasty specials. If you like the better "gastro-pubs" in philly, this place is for you.

Off the beaten path, laid-back, friendly crowd, cool owners mingling w/ customers, soul music and cheap specials (beer and food)!!!

Dig it.

Great Place in Grad!. Congrats to the owners of this pioneering spot near Grad Hospital-Grays Ferry. The food and drink are great and it's a really eclectic place where everyone seems to have a great time. We eat here for Sunday brunch on a regular basis and the servers and owners (Adam?) could not be more friendly. They know we like soup and even though it's from the Saturday dinner menu, they always offer to heat it up for Sunday before the Eagles game. The place is dekced out but not too hip so you can relax, socialize and play Quizzo. Great spot!

great burgers and service. I went to sidecar with my fiance a few weeks ago. We ordered a couple of burgers and some cocktails from the specials menu. The burgers where cooked perfectly his- extremely well done and mine still kickin. The blue cheese on my burger and the grilled onions gave it enough zip that I couldnt put it down. The bread was fresh and tasty, the sides where yummy too. Our cocktails where perfectly mixed, the waitress friendly and attentive enough to make you feel like one of the regulars, and the music was nice too, a jukebox with variety.

We had a few questions about the BB-Q - As you see we have a friend who is exceptionally fussy about her BB-Q and she will be visiting us soon so we wanted to prescreen a place she might like. Not only did our questions get answered quickly, intelligantly and with flair we where offered up hefty samples to try, yum It was great!!!!
