Ridiculous selection of loose leaf teas & tea accessories in this Rittenhouse Shop. They have any flavor you'd like, just ask!

Love this place. What an incredible environment. Very hip and chic and educational. Hundreds of teas at great prices. Variety is huge and staff really know their product. I buy a lot of my gifts here. I now love the daily ritual of tea and for a few cents a day I get instant stress relief and energy. The young guy on Sundays is a wealth of info, as is the web site, if you are a tea novice. Quality teas and interesting and unique gifts right off of Rittenhouse Square.

experience not worth it. I went in this tea shop and had been there before. They have good teas and prices are okay. But you feel so unwelcome like they want you to leave. I wanted to get a cup of hot tea but was told they had removed the equipment and weren't currently selling hot tea. That was the end of the discussion, my daughter and I both looked at each other and the sales person and left without another word. It was very ackward. There are so few good loose tea places, I wish they actually wanted me as a customer.

Totally rude. I was really looking forward to visiting this store to try out some new types of teas. What a waste of time!

When my friend and I walked in, not only were we ignored by the lady at the counter, it was a very unfriendly atmosphere. After looking around, I was not very impressed. It seemed junky with a loft up top filled with boxes and a tea bar that was more indicative of storage rather than tea.

I found a type of tea I wanted to try and when the lady finally asked if she could help me, I asked for 2 oz of the tea (which was included as an option on the price sheet). She informed me that they only sell a minimum of 4 oz, was that a problem. When I told her yes it was a problem, she basically went back to ignoring us. It was a very uncomfortable experience and when we left a few minutes later, my friend even said goodbye, with no acknowlegement from the lady.

I would never go back, nor would I tell anyone else to. We walked away shocked at the treatment we received, especially in a store that was dead.

I can't speak for the quality of their tea, but I did see that it looked like it was the inside of a tea bag, rather than whole leaf tea.

Loose Tea Experience a Real Eye Opener. I am new to loose tea, and leaned heavily on their advice for which tea to try. We talked about beverages I did and did not like and they put together a selection of tea to introduce me to what tea should taste like.

I got some flavored Assam tea, A Single Estate Black Tea, a Blended Black Tea and a Rooibos Herbal Tea which I found out isn't from the tea plant, but from the South African "redbush". (See I really didn't know much).

Anyway I am hooked!. The tea is better than I could of imagined. It comes in a re-sealable foil pouch to keep it fresh but I don't imagine that I will wait long to use up this shipment.

Thanks Premium Steap for introducing me to a great product!

This long-time Wayne purveyor of specialty blends and gear comes downtown with a wondrous array of wares for tea lovers.. Who knew gourmet tea could be so economical? When you do the math, Premium Steap's select samplings come out to just pennies a cup. And oh, what heady and healthful brews you'll master with signature blends of loose teas complemented by the perfect accouterments or just stop in for take out iced and hot selections such as a thé-au-lait. You can also peruse gift sets and take home a sampler for oneself.
