Great deep tissue massage!. This was my first time visiting a spa in Philly so I was a little bit hesitant to even booking the appointment. My massage therapist, Leonia, was amazing. It was one of the best deep tissue massages that I ever received. The receptionist was extremely warm and professional.

Pros: Amazingly powerful and relaxing massage. The massage therapist applied the right amount of pressure where needed, and took her time to tend to every problem area. She was also very pleasant.

Cons: Too much sunlight in the room. I felt like I was in someones bedroom instead of a spa. They are recently moved to a new location and I believe that they are still working on the decor.

They have great specials on their website. I definitely will return again!…

Good Service!. Well it was my birthday when I went to this spa today. My husband booked a deep tissue massage for me. One I greatly needed being a mom of a youngster and a part time student. The massage was excellent! The girl was great and asked just what you needed. I loved the comfort and warmth the hot towels between massage rotations! Good work guys. Look forward to coming back.…

Pure Hell....not BLISS. My original appointment was October 17th at 5:00. I bought my friend a gift card for her birthday and decided to come in with her. We were booked for Manual Microderm facials. We arrived at 4:50 and my friend was called back to get her facial at 5:10, I was told that LORENZO would be doing my facial and would be with me shortly. I sat in the waiting room until 5:36 and at that time Lorenzo came and told me he was giving me a complimentary massage for my wait which turned out to be a giant egg that you lay in and it vibrates. After I laid in the egg thing for a half hour I was then told by a different massage therapist that I was getting yet another massage (by a person) because of the wait. I declined because it was now 6:06 and we had dinner reservations at 6:30 and I didn’t want my friend to sit and wait on me while I got another massage for a half hour then an hour long facial. Lorenzo then told me that I could come back the following Saturday to get the facial that I paid for and he would personally give me a massage.

Second visit I came in at 1:00 for my facial, I sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes (Déjà vu) then was told to come on back for my facial. The esthetician was very nice and I began to think that maybe I misjudged the place. We talked about my skin problems and she then began to give me a facial. I never had a manual microderm before but something felt really odd there were a lot of creams and no microderm stimulation. As she was finishing she asked me how did I like the facial. I responded “what kind of facial was that” she replied “anti-aging” WOW that blew my mind. On my second try they gave me the WRONG facial. I was LIVID at this point. I asked for Lorenzo the guy who made my appointment and was supposed to give me a massage and I was told that he was out of town. So not only did I get the wrong facial but the manager who was supposed to give me a massage for my inconvenience was not even there. I walked out of the spa with a greasy face, no massage and no one to complain to. It was awful and if you can help it stay away from there.…

Simply Marvelous-]. I had an awesome experience at this spa. The ambiance is perfect. The aroma is breathtaking. The music is mesmerizing. The staff are pleasant and extremely accommodating. The owner is hands on and very knowledgeable. You must try Pure Bliss. And Lorenzo does THE BEST MASSAGES his hands are magical. Did I mention the services are affordable. You get the downtown experience without the downtown prices.. SIMPLY MARVELOUS…
