First and Last cut in Philadelphia

I just moved to Philadelphia from San Francisco, so I had been searching for colorists who offer Balayage method of highlights, which is hard to find here. I selected vog for this reason.

I arrive to a very packed salon on a saturday am (normal) tell my colorist i want balayage, and he tells me he doesnt think its a good idea. ( I think this is strange, but go with it) I tell him I want natural looking Gizzelle like highlights ( who has balayage highlights). I have brunette hair and olive skin, I am not even close to a blonde. I also specifically tell him no platinum chunky highlights.

After spending 2 hours waiting to get my color rinsed out ( the colorists did 2 peoples hair while i waited.) I ended up with a blonde head of hair. Like platinum blonde! The highlights looked like they were straight out of the year 2004 when chunky beach blonde highlights were in.

So at this time, after a great cut ( thankfully) and blowout, I am almost in tears. I decide (after already being there for 3.5 hours to get food and then return so that they can fix my newly blonde coif.

They did fix my hair, but it doesn't even look highlighted anymore, and they charged me FULL Price, I spend 180 before tip. I never even spent that at the most expenisve places in San Francisco.

I will not be returning EVER,

Great salon, friendly people, your hair will look fabulous

I've been going to VOG for years. It is a very friendly place, no attitude. My hair always looks fabulous when I leave. Felix is the best!!

Great experience

I had my hair done this past Thursday, and was soooo pleased with my cut. I received a lot of compliments from everyone who saw me that day. I will definately return again and recommend that others go.
