My favorite breakfast spot. My family and I come in weekly for the bargain breakfast-- two eggs, a latke, challah toast and coffee for four dollars. You can't beat that anywhere in town, especially not anywhere with this much charm and friendliness.

Honey's just isn't that sweet. I go by this place a lot, daily, in fact. There are always folks outside waiting to get in. Swarms of folks, sometimes. I've stopped by to read the menu... There is no way am I waiting 2 hours for brunch, especially with many other local places to choose from...

One day I managed to pop in and grab a seat for brunch. Had a hankering for Huevos Rancheros. Now, it could be that this isn't their specialty, but they were terrible. The most bland, watery and disappointing Huevos I have ever had. And I do like my Huevos. And they cost a fortune. The table service was slow, the kitchen was slow, the food was terrible, the coffee was burnt, the people were for the most part nice, if a little slow. Did I mention slow? And terrible? This place is way over-hyped. But, by all means, keep going there. It means I can get a table at a more flavorful and punctual local brunch spot?

The only place I never get sick of..... I think it's funny when people complaints about a place that is too busy and they have to wait (I mean come on if that many people are going to a place it has to be good!), and I think it's funny that another con was location, haha, sorry it's not in your neighborhood b/c it is in mine and I am loving it! Ok, now to the food....there is basically and endless menu of new things to try, of almost every origin too! I can go in and try a new thing every time I go in...which is almost 3 times a week. It's a great date place, family place, group gathering place, it's warm and cozy, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff is top notch. As for that one guy with the 4 foot cheese....you loved the place the first time...everyone is allowed to have a mess up don't know a place for a fluke.....but anyway...go to Honey's you become addicted and be there every day!

Honey's sit and eat. My wife and I went to this resturant on our 25th anniversary and we were impressed. That was then and today's experience has put us in the NEVER AGAIN clients. We ordered a a brisket sandwich which we were going to share but for some reason when I attempted to cut it in half the a large section of the bottom part of the sandwich was so hard the knife could not cut it. I found out it was a larger peice of hardened cheese about 3' by 2'. That was bad enough when I saw a member of the staff with a large 'abrasion" on his right forearm. It may have been covered with some type of liquid bandage it should have been covered with some type of bandage. In California they would have closed the resturant down. There were a few other problems but the above are enough to make us only former customers.

Great brunch spot. I have been for brunch two times. There were very accurate about the wait time. The food is very good and the atmosphere fun for a sunday brunch place. It does get a bit hot in there- not sure about the AC function.

Overall, I recommend it!

favorite breakfast spot. my boyfriend and i go to breakfast every weekend and honey's is our hands-down favorite. try the whole wheat pancakes - they're delicious. stuffed with all kinds of fruit. try the strange things on the menu too.... the breakfast quesadilla sounds like a weird combination but it is fantastic as well. expect to wait after 10am on weekends, but it's well worth it.

Worth the Wait for Brunch. Went on a Saturday mornign for brunch. Luckily a friend had warned us about the wait. Be sure to bring something to entertain yourself (such as a newspaper) and maybe some coffee. Also note, you'll probably be waiting outside, but they are smart enough to provide a heat lamp.

Once we got inside the food was great. I had the chicken-steak (comes with two eggs, biscuit, potato pancake) and my girl firend had the banana-walnut pancakes. Everything was excellent. There appeared to be some good vegetarian choices too should that be a concern. The staff was awesome and on top of everything. The ambience and general crowd there is very cool. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff...not so friendly food.... We went here because so many people raved about it...we were very very disappointed!!

I ordered the eggs Benedict and the sauce on top was spicy...who wants spice sauce with eggs??...not me!! There was so many peppers and onions throughout the potatoes.... that they were inedible. The coffee was extremely bitter.

The only saving grace was the cranberry juice was cold and the people who worked there were very friendly. Its ashame they dont just let there food speak for itself...they obviously use really fresh ingredients...and if they didnt overload it with peppers and onions it would be fantastic!!

Stellar french toast!. Honey's has some great food, particularly the challah french toast. They also have excellent biscuits. Pancakes with fillings such as bananas were light and better than average too. The BBQ pork sandwiches are just fair while teh brisciut sandwiches were dry and overcooked. Breakfast is served all day here, and apparently lunch specials can be ordered in the morning hours as well. The hostess and table runners were extremely attentive and kept checking to make sure we were happy but our servers on mulitple visits have been either slow or disappered frequently. The food came out quickly, however, but it gets crowded on weekend mornings so you may be in for a wait.
