Editorial Review for Estia – by Lauren McCutcheon
In Short
Business-crowded by day and theater-packed at night, this gleaming, multi-room, 200-seat Mediterranean restaurant promises to become Center City's foremost destination for upscale Greek fare. Diners choose from whole fish--including Mediterranean white snapper and European sea bass--ouzo-flamed Haloumi cheese, lamb chops with lemon potatoes and rabbit braised in mavrodaphne wine sauce. More than 200 Greek wines are available as are ouzo-spiked martinis and thick Greek coffee brewed over a fire.

Excellent, I can't say anymore, very fresh food, wonderful flavors via what I can only call perfect seasoning and preparation. The presentation was excellent and the decedent deserts topped off a wonderful meal. I must also mention that the outstanding service and knowledge of the waiter only added to an already wonderful evening.
Pros: Some of the best food I have had in years
Cons: High prices will keep you from returning as often as you would like

I just attended a dinner party here that was held in the main dining room. The food was excellent, but the hostesses were stuck up and rather cold and although I appreciated their effort, the busboys were always appearing to do something. Other than that, it was good.
Pros: Outstanding food, parking is right next door, perfect for theater nights
Cons: Cold hostess, busboys a bit too eager
