Worst Experience. Kildares was a horrible experience for me for the following reasons: Fork and knife were disgusting, glasses had streak marks like they haven't been cleaned, the roof was leaking a ton of water!!!!!!! the bloody mary mix is disgusting! the carrots and celery were floppy and slightly brown. the cheesesteak boxty isn't even steak its roast beef! There were over abundance of flies on the ceiling and around the bar taps. There was an infestation of mice!!!!!!! Overall I will never step foot in any Kildares ever again!!!!!!!!!

This local mini-chain of Irish pubs offers consistent good vibes and daily specials in an accessible and laid-back environment.. In Short
Irish cuisine here does its job in the way of classic boxtys, crispy fish and chips, hearty stew, and goat cheese encrusted salmon. Sandwiches are stand-up lunchtime winners. But the real deal is the welcoming bar with elements transported from the old sod to each location with a mix classic Irish pub decor with some contemporary elements. Friendly staffers make imbibing here even better. Cap a meal or night out with a lassic Irish coffee.

Great "First Night in Manayunk" Place. Kildares is a great place if you're new to Manayunk, because the crowd is usually a guarantee on the weekends although it gets old after a while. If you want to avoid the pushing and huge lines at the bar, try a Thursday night. Mostly a straight off the R6 work crowd and young professionals that live in the area. Good specials on that night as well.
