Thanks for paying...now move to another table.
Saturday night dinner... waited 30 mins. This is a small restaurant and we were shoved into a small corner. Our waiter came right over, explained the one special, then vanished for 20mins. We then
placed our complete order. Had the Whole Grilled Artichoke and some cheese for the appetizer. This took about 25 mins. The appetizers were very good...but 25 min is way too long to wait. Our dinner ( Lobster & Shrimp for me, Pan Seared Diver Scallops for her ) came out about about 15 mins after we finished the apps. Just to make sure we are all on the same timeline: It has now been about 90 mins and we are just getting our main course. The Lobster and Shrimp were very good, but the scallops tasted like lemon was poured over them. We had 1 cup of coffee and no desert ( and no desert was even explained). When the coffee was put down, the waiter took our water bottle and put the check down. I paid the bill as my wife was drinking her coffee. On her last sip of coffee we were ask to move to another table because of a large party coming in. I thought the hostess and waiter were kidding, but unfortunately they were very serious. I explained we just literally paid the bill, drove 1 hour to get here, and have small children...so getting out by ourselves is a real treat. They were adamant about taking our table. We were very offended and walked out. The waitress came out and apologized...which was too little too late. The ironic thing is...they delayed everything from getting us a table all the way up to the main course. But now they want to rush me off to another table !
I would never recommend this place to anyone. So rude in making us move to another table.…
Best in CC West. Wonderful service, food is amazing. My wife and I love the place.
neighborhood gem.
We had walked in Christmas Eve after seeing The Nutcracker. We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly, it turned out to be a wonderful and romantic evening to ring in the holiday season. The
antipasto selection was delicious and as a reviewer pointed out, the garlic and basil olive oil tasting is a definite must!! My husband had the humongous pappadelle entree and devoured the entire thing! He continuously commented that it was the best pasta he's had in a while, and that is quite a feat coming from a picky Italian pasta lover. I had the delightful filet mignon dish, cooked to perfect medium rare.
I highly recommend this great BYOB for any special occasion or a reason to go out for a good meal.…
Love This Place!. The food here is amazing! I first went with three friends during restaurant week and we sampled a bit of each other's food, nothing disappointed. I was so amazed by the flavors in my own entree and appetizer. The basil and garlic olive oils were unbelievable. I've been back once more since and have plans to go again in a few weeks. I tend to go early on weekdays to avoid the waits and the hustle of the late evening crowd and have not experienced any service problems. The last time I was there they actually had a couple of open tables so they were a little relaxed in coming to retrieve our tab as we were ready to go.…
Great food outweighs hostess attitude. Wonderful food at this place. Hostess put us off at first, but was soon forgotten when we got our dinner.
