Serving lunch only, this cafe operates as an outpost--or a fashionable little sister--of nearby French mainstay Brasserie Perrier. The menu is mostly salads--peeky toe crab and fresh melon, a skein of soba noodles rimmed with sweet, citrus-marinated shrimp--and sandwiches--a classic croque madame, succulent French dip panini, flavorful Provencal tuna on pumpernickel. But not all is low-cal. Midday indulgences include striped bass in brown butter and garlicky chicken breast over creamy mashed potatoes.
