Best Cut and Color in Town!! Dawn Rouse expertly cuts my naturally curly hair, so that it falls in lovely long layers when straightened and bouncy curls when dried naturally. She uses a single process glaze to add depth and shine. Love, love, love!!!

This is an exceptional salon! I have been going to Shannon at Jay Michaels Salon (formerly the Phoenix Salon) for more than 5 years. She knows just what I am looking for with my color, and does highlites and lowlites to acheive the perfect look! The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

Great spa! If I had to rate it between 1 to 10 it would definitely give it a 20!!! I've been to this spa four times and each times its been great. I have referred people to this spa and it also makes a wonderful gift to family and friends. I would recommend Augustine Lodise he does such a great job and I never have a complaint.. This is a really good spa and I would recommend it to anybody

Went in with green hair yesterday - had been swimming in a pool and it turned my hair the color of algae found in a dirty aquarium. Thom had his assistant do 3 clarifying washes and then used a neutralizing red hair color to take out the green. I also had a keratin treatment to seal and protect my hair. So grateful that I was able to leave as a blonde! Thanks Thom!

Philly's Most Upscale Salon & Spa!. One of the best salon's in the entire city! Staff are very professional and treat you like a celebrity! The place is gorgeous and offers so many different services you could spend the entire day there, from open to close!

Very knowledgeable staff and the outcomes of their services are amazing! Validated valet parking makes getting in and out of the city easy. Cannot wait to go back!

Best Salon in Philly. If you are looking for a convenient, clean, pleasant, and professional hair salon, Jay Michael Salon is the salon for you. Starting going to Jay's July 2011, and glad I followed "Sweetie", a wonderful stylist, to this great salon. Everyone is so pleasant and at every visit they make you feel at home.

Actually getting what I asked for!. I was first referred to Dawn at the last salon she was working at on Market St. by a friend. She had alot of great reviews and I wanted to make an appointment with her but unfortunately, I never made it over to the salon before it closed.

I needed a haircut so badly that recently I contacted my friend who originally referred me to Dawn to see if she knew where she was. Luckily she told me she was at Jay Michael now. I called and spoke with the male receptionist who was very informative on hours, parking, gratuity etc. I made my appointment and couldn't wait to get a new "look".

Dawn greeted me with a handshake and a smile as if I've known her forever. We sat and spoke about what I was looking for, what my time was like in the morning to achieve my look and how many different ways I could where my hair when I needed a styling change! I never felt rushed and I felt like she really wanted to make me happy. That's been quite a hard thing to find in recent years at various salons.

Needless to say, I walked out feeling AMAZING and wanting to show off my "new look". I had been waiting a long time for someone to actually listen to me.

I was recommended some great products that Dawn used on my hair to make my look achievable at home (even for me). I have gotten so many compliments and I can't wait to go back and get highlights now.

If your looking for someone to really take the time and listen, ask for Dawn.

Addictive Spa Treatment. This is amazing! I have been receiving massages for several years now and this is the first spa that I have been too in which every time I leave it is with another appointment. Augustine is very addictive. Not only is he knowledgeable and professional but he has great hands. This has been my "something I can do to pamper myself" monthly appointments. As an expecting mother there are so many restrictions to get used to however, I found one approval that I am glad I am not restricted from. I think my baby is going to be born wanting massages....lol. I cannot wait until my next appointment. Great salon, fabulous atmosphere and the most polite and professional staff ever.
