I can't sing loudly enough the praises of my aesthetician, Stacy McGinnis. I've been going to her for years, and I wouldn't trust my brows to anyone else. She does an outstanding job and is also just super fun to talk to.

My hair stylist, Bruce DuBois, is truly superb as well. He always gives me exactly the cut/color I want. Seriously, bring in a picture of what you want your hair to look like, and this guy will make it happen. He really listens, and he gives you his opinion but never pushes anything on you. My friends and family have agreed that the cut he gave me last week is the best I've ever had. He's also happy to have me stop in to get my bangs trimmed without an appointment or charge between cuts. He has lots of tips for hair care and how to get the most out of my style.

All of the staff there--everyone from the masters to the assistants to the people at the front desk--are so nice. And the place is so classy! I always feel like a pampered celebrity when I'm there, and I always feel more beautiful when I walk out.

I work in Center City Phila, so it's easy just to pop over after work, or even on my lunch break, since the salon is right there on 16th & Arch. I highly recommend this salon!

Outstanding Jay Michael Salon at The Phoenix!!!

My recent visit to Jay Michael Salon and Spa, as always, was outstanding.

Jackie, custom creates color and hair style based on your facial features as well as hair texture. She takes the time, before beginning to discuss what you want and offers her professional advice. Jackie, also monitors and mentors the Assistant working with her throughout the entire appointment. Consquently, even when you don't see her you know she is still working to

create the very best results. Jackie, also offers styling tips so that you can get the same amazing salon results at home.

Jay Michael Salon and Spa has many talented Stylist

Janine, Moira, Shannon and Jillian. I have seen and also experienced their outstanding skills.

The Spa also has talented and well trained Esthetican's. Kim's, Stacey's and Effey's facials are relaxing and results in your skin glowing. They too prodive tips on how to continue to maintain the glow. They provide waxing services, that I swear are almost painless.

For massages, there is Augstine he is extremely knowledgeable and talented.

Must include the Front Desk Staff in this reivew. Under Kristn's leadership, don't believe there is another Salon in the City that compares. From the minute you walk in until the monent you check out they go out of their way to make you happy. Mark, is always smiling and helpful.

I highly recommend Jay Michael Salon and Spa, it's worth taking a trip to Philladelphia!!!!

Bruce Dubois - THE Best!!

Bruce has been my colorist for many years and is the best colorist in the area. I know that when I leave the salon my hair will look terrific. His experience and expertise are second to none! Bruce is very knowledgeable about the latest coloring techniques, is aware of what is "in" and what works/will not work for his clients. Bruce takes the time to listen to my ideas and then will suggest colors that will look good for me. This, in my opinion, is very important.

Ashely, Bruce's assistant, is fantastic. She always styles my hair perfectly and is very friendly and engaging.

In LOVE with my color!

After taking a good, hard look in the mirror, I knew it was time to kiss my at-home coloring days goodbye. My hair consisted of literally five different colors (all various shades of brown and red). Rather than letting my laziness influence me, I picked up the phone and scheduled an appt. with Thom Motta for color. I can confidently say that Thom has won me over and is now my go-to for all of my hair needs. He took the time to find the PERFECT color for my tresses, paying close attention to my skin tone. His selection was a rich, vibrant hue of shimmering brown. And on top of it all, he gave me a beautiful blow out, which had just the right amount of volume. I'm beyond pleased!

One of the Best in Town

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of receiving one of the best manicures I have ever had. I dropped in, unexpectedly, and within one half of an hour I was in Cati's chair. My nails look beautiful, and the color has not chipped one bit....even though I thoroughly cleaned my apartment. This is a miracle in itself, as every other manicure I have had in town has resulted in my re-polishing my nails after a day. I have told all of my friends about my experience. I can't wait to go back for a pedicure.......
