Bruce Dubois - THE Best!!

Bruce has been my colorist for many years and is the best colorist in the area. I know that when I leave the salon my hair will look terrific. His experience and expertise are second to none! Bruce is very knowledgeable about the latest coloring techniques, is aware of what is "in" and what works/will not work for his clients. Bruce takes the time to listen to my ideas and then will suggest colors that will look good for me. This, in my opinion, is very important.

Ashely, Bruce's assistant, is fantastic. She always styles my hair perfectly and is very friendly and engaging.

In LOVE with my color!

After taking a good, hard look in the mirror, I knew it was time to kiss my at-home coloring days goodbye. My hair consisted of literally five different colors (all various shades of brown and red). Rather than letting my laziness influence me, I picked up the phone and scheduled an appt. with Thom Motta for color. I can confidently say that Thom has won me over and is now my go-to for all of my hair needs. He took the time to find the PERFECT color for my tresses, paying close attention to my skin tone. His selection was a rich, vibrant hue of shimmering brown. And on top of it all, he gave me a beautiful blow out, which had just the right amount of volume. I'm beyond pleased!

One of the Best in Town

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of receiving one of the best manicures I have ever had. I dropped in, unexpectedly, and within one half of an hour I was in Cati's chair. My nails look beautiful, and the color has not chipped one bit....even though I thoroughly cleaned my apartment. This is a miracle in itself, as every other manicure I have had in town has resulted in my re-polishing my nails after a day. I have told all of my friends about my experience. I can't wait to go back for a pedicure.......

My experience at Jay Michael Salon in Philadelphia is always a pleasant one especially with my hair stylist Sweetie who is always warm, friendly and helpful. I've recommended the salon to many of my friends. The staff and assistance are always professional and courteous making my experience a treat!

A Great Experience- Hair and Spa Both Wonderful!

I am a very happy client of the Jay Michael Salon and Spa in Philadelphia. Last week, I had both a massage with Augustine and a haircut with Jay himself!! Honestly, the best haircut I have ever had. A little more than I would normally spend but worth every dollar and I didn't have to tip since he is the owner so the extra money didn't make a difference in the end anyway as I usually tip more than 20%. I didn't even tell him what I wanted and let him decide what would be best for me. I have received so many compliments and feel so great about how I look. The style is also so easy to do on my own, although I am quickly becoming a regular blow out client of the salon, as it always looks best when professionally blown out. I am going to book 2 appointments a week to have it styled by one of the Jay Michael stylists.............Even if I have to give up my Starbucks to save some on the budget! I also had a fabulous massage with Augustine who I would have to say is the best therapist I have ever been to. He gave me the best deep tissue massage (and it was really deep tissue!) and I felt the benefits for days to come. He knows so much about massage and really gave the best foot massage. I could have had that for a full 50 minutes and been happy too! The place is beautiful and the valet parking is really a bonus. It was only 6 dollars to park and I didn't have to worry about ruining my hair in the rain. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have this great salon just down the street from my office.
