Regained my core strength back
by eyeglasses95 at Citysearch
A simple paragraph of words does not do Cara Frank justice. Cara started treating me a few months ago when my family doctor and several specialists could not help. I have had numbness and weakness in my extremities for 6 months and they could find no treatment to help my symptoms. Cara Frank helped me with her expert skill in Chinese acupuncture and herbal therapy. Today, my strength and energy is back. I feel less stress and more empowered. My numbness is minimal and I am myself again. If you are considering Chinese acupuncture treatment, go to see Cara!
Recommend strongly for fertility treatments!!!
by Arwen71 at Citysearch
I have been seeing Cara for 9 months now. When I first saw Cara, I had six pregnancies of which five miscarried. I had been going to fertility doctors for 4 years after the second miscarriage. It did result in 1 live birth which I am very happy about. I went through numerous treatments with fertility drugs and IUI in hopes of having a second baby. Eventually, I gave up - the drugs were affecting me emotionally and physically and I was also advised by my fertility doctor that it would not be prudent to subject me to more drugs. I had heard that acupuncture was effective at treating fertility. My visits to another acupuncturist did not yield results. I moved back to Philadelphia and my previous acupuncturist recommended strongly for me to see Cara. Cara, from our initial meeting, provided a comforting and compassionate environment for me. She understood all the emotional and physical issues I was experiencing. Soon after seeing her, I became pregnant. She provided a holistic approach to keeping my pregnancy with a diet to make sure the baby "sticks" and herbs to keep the pregnancy strong. She was always available for my needs through visits, email and phone calls. I really felt she was personally invested in making sure the baby made it. I am now on my 39th week and happily anticipating the birth of my baby. This has been the most supportive and productive healthcare I have had and opened my eyes to a more balanced, healthier lifestyle with the use of Chinese medicine. She definitely does not take a cookie cutter approach to treating her patients, and customizes care based on a person's needs and lifestyle!
- Pros: Balanced and focused attention and care
- Cons: None
Recharge your body and mind!
by bethb56 at Citysearch
I first came to see Cara because she was highly recommended for her expertise in Chinese herbs. I was in need of a "body charge" for my autoimmune system and didn't want the traditional medical approaches that had helped to get me in the condition I was in. Boy, did I get a REAL body charge when she combined her knowledge of herbs with acupuncture! When my session is complete, I often joke that I feel drunk. The truth is, my body feels completely relaxed and refreshed, my mind peaceful. Cara is amazing- she has helped me tremendously with my myriad of medical issues.
- Pros: totally body and mind care!
- Cons: none

Having been a patient of Cara Frank's for many years now, I cannot express what a caring and kind practitioner she is.I have many health challenges and Cara was the first to make me feel that these were in fact challenges that she and I would address together as a team. She is meticulous, extemely thorough, and a wonderfully attentive listener. I have recommended Cara and Six Fishes to many of my friends and associates and will continue to do so.
- Pros: Attentive, thorough, caring and extremly clean
