In Short
The walls of this petite 28-seat neighborhood bistro are lined with candle-filled shelfs; the tiled dining room floor is kissed by filmy curtains trailing down from overhead pipes. Diners in the front can enjoy the large bay window--in the back, guests can view Chef Ian Moroney's open kitchen. Don't miss the scallops served on a bed of red peppers and escarole. The dinner menu changes daily, but there always is a whole fish entree.

Foodies will love this place, the menu changes daily and the food is spectacular. I go often because it is always good. The portions are normal size and you will leave satisfied but not stuffed. Dont forget to make a reservation.
Pros: Spectacular food, BYO
Cons: Small space

Recently visited this place after hearing many positive things, but left fairly disappointed. Good-- very charming small space, which is intimate and romantic. Super friendly staff Bad -- smallest portions that I have seen outside of a 7 course tasting menu at Le Bec Fin. We both had an appetizer, entree and dessert and left hungry. Food was decent but not spectacular. restaurant is also on an "up and coming" block. The prices were also obnoxious given the tiny portions. There are so many better byob options in the city that this is not even in the top 50% of byobs.
