Let the massive martini olive hanging above the entrance lead the way: inside awaits an always well prepared menu, great drinks, and, on the weekends, a fantastic brunch.

Excellent Food!. I've been here twice and both times the food was excellent. My filet was grilled to perfection. The desserts were also fabulous! Go hungry!

Trendy, Fun, Awesome. The Continental Midtown is just about my favorite place in the city to hang out. They've a great drink menu (my fave is the "French 75"), and the atmosphere is awesome, between the different colors, lighting, hanging bamboo chairs, and what I love in the warmer weather; a rooftop deck! Just wish it were bigger, but you can't have everything.

Consistently good.. I've eaten at Continental midtown a number of times and have never had a complaint about the food. The lobster mac & cheese is amazing. It is delightfully cheesy and tender and you'll never want another mac & cheese again. The calamari salad is refreshing and a great quick bite to eat. The calamari is perfectly cooked, never overdone and chewy. I would prefer that they take reservations as the waits can sometimes drag on and on, and during peak meal times it can be very loud, but overall, it's a great place for a nice, quick bite to eat.

Best martini's and atmosphere. the midtown is an amazing atmosphere and has a great vibe and energy to it, pair up with a fantastic selection of martinis served in their own shaker, along with some great food leads to having a great time.

Great place for a date. I just recently went to Continental with my boyfriend for a Valenitines Day dinner and really enjoyed myself! It was my frist time going to a tapas resturant and I will surely be asking to go again! The food was great...........I loved the small portions! Left room for dessert.(gotta try the milk and cookies, it takes just like creme brulee without the sugar top!) I had the Thai Chicken with Peanut Sauce and my boyfriend had the lobster rolls. We also shared the hummus and pita chips! WONDERFUL! I had no clue until reading other reviews on here that they have an outside upstairs! Want to go back in the warmer months and sit outside! I already know what I am going to have next time I go! Philly cheesesteak rolls with fries! The waiter that we had was really nice and explained to me all about how the resturant works.......It's a great, hip place for a date!

get for out-of-town guests. I searched online for an international cuisine restaurant to take my mother before a show at the Wachovia Center. After reading some reviews and looking at the menu I decided here. What a terrific decision! Michael, our server, was courteous and helpful and on our next visit we will request him. We asked a ton of questions and being a server myself, I thought we were being a little bit of a pain. He stayed calm and extremely nice and attentive. My mother was espically happy that they carried fat free skim milk for her tea, which is rare for a restaurants. The tea and food presentation and taste were esquisite. The atmosphere was delightful with so many different decorations to discuss, espically while sitting in a hanging chairs. There was a nice variety of choices and after much deliberation my mother and I choose Ahi Tuna Tartare, shrimp & scallop spring rolls, hummus and a thai chicken dish. The tuna was to die for. It was so good that I put in a take out order to bring home to my husband (he also loved it). My mother is not found of Romaine lettuce which was part of the chicken dish so they happily substiuted Boston lettuce instead. It really helped make the dish. The hummus was tasty and the spring rolls were alright. The spring rolls didn't have much flavor but were a nice texture. I wouldn't order those again. The dessert presentation was so beautiful you almost didn't want to eat it. My mother enjoyed her raspberry chocolat cake while I savored my tirumasu like dessert served in a martini glass. The only negative thing that we experienced, or I should say my mother experienced, was she didn't appreciate the tempo of the music or the cool draft above her seat. Once we talked to the manager about the draft he corrected the problem immediately. So, over all, if you would like an experience in a unique restaurant with terrific service and exceptional food, this is the place for you. We plan on making another trip with realitives.

come for drinks and desserts. So the food here is good, but what you really should come for are the drinks and dessert! The many small chocolatey, creative bite-sized (so you won't feel too guilty) desserts are satisfying, and all of the drinks are great though I LOVE the pomegranate daiquiri and buzz aldrin the most. The upstairs outdoor bar is a great place to be in the summertime.

u rock. i love this place i was here on the 28h of june with a good friend , who i might ad helped the experience to be even better , he wanted to sit in those silly chairs on the second floor , which winded up being pretty cool

and the waitress was so wondeful and pleasant , but i cannot remember her name.

all the food was pretty good , but what stood out was the mash potatoes with coconut and sweet potatoes

infused ...or something to that effect ...........it was slamming

i wish i could come to this place at least once a week , it is an awesome place , hopefully when i do return

it will be with the same special friend , i was with on the 28th , continental ROCKS

Simply amazing. I've been to the Continental Mid-town a few times and each time has been soo great. Although I've passed by it and have seen it get crowded, I've never had to wait too long because of the time I went. There are so many food choices and they're all good size portions for sharing. Everything I've had tasted so amazing!
