prepare to sit and wait....
This is the 3rd time I have been to this restaurant and every time, I leave annoyed. It first starts out with at least 30min wait, then wait for the 'actual' server to come to you and then wait a painstakingly long time between each step and then maybe you'll get your food (which is ok not great but ok).
Bottom line, we contemplated just up and leaving bc it seemed like no one was paying attention to us. I'd drive over to TGIFridays if I were you.
Tropical decor and flavors turn this casual restaurant into a mini vacation..
In Short
Even from the front door, this restaurant looks straight out of the Caribbean. Weathered woods, bamboo accents, palm leaf fans and bright floral prints whisk the families and young couples here away from the suburbs, while the piped in reggae ups the vibe. The menu continues the theme, with tropical ingredients like jicama and yucca and jerk seasoning giving basic chicken and fish a kick. Frozen drinks at the bar finish the meal.
great place. this is a really fun and excellant place to go and have dinner in King of Prussia. They have delicious food and great service. the only problem is there is usually a line out the door and an hour wait but as long as you call with reservations there is not a problem. Highly recommend.
Ja-making me write this review. My boyfriend and I went to Bahama Breeze after watching an amazing IMAX film at a nearby theater. Our wait would've been 30-50 minutes, but we claimed a table near the bar. We waited for about 20 minutes to have our server clean the table and take our drink orders. If you are very thirsty, they have a drink menu with 100+ drinks! We ordered Coconut Prawn (pretty good), Oak-fired Angus Burger (burger-y), and Jerk Chicken Pasta (so-so). Our waiter, Nathan was very good-hearted and attentive; he refilled our drinks before we asked. Overall, this restaurant is okay. Could be worse, but couldn't be better. You should try Bahama Breeze if you haven't had Carribean food.
