don't know what I would do with out it. super friendly coffee shop with really great bagel sandwiches. naturally cool without making a scene. great for moms and dads, hipsters and hippies. There are a lot of coffee shops in the neighborhood but I don't know what I would do with out this one.

okay but too smokey. The atmosphere is interesting but the place smells like a dive bar with stale cigerette smoke lingering forever in the air - recommand take out only, though, even then you leave smellling like smoke. Try the Jewish Aple Cake - yum.

homegrown urbancrafty. The coffee is good (La Colombe) and consistently well-made, the atmosphere is homegrown urbancrafty - part punk, part art, part kitsch - and it always feels cozy. The people behind the counter are unpretentiously interesting and friendly, and damn if the homemade goodies (cakes and whatnot) are not tasty as all get go. Plus you get Hershey Kisses with your espresso.
