Amazing Service, Decor and Food

August provides an intimate and well decorated atmosphere for casual dining. The food deserves recognition and the service is great. Our waitress was very attentive and always with a smile. The owners welcomed us in with great conversation, providing a homey feel that can only be found in South Philly. We quickly became part of the family at this reasonably priced BYO. Be sure to check it out.

GREAT service, best porkchop ever

After trying to get reservations here for 2 weeks, I finally got a table. The place is so cute and well decorated, so it made a great first impression. Not to mention we were greeted by very friendly staff. The menu looked great, I had a pork chop special that I was told used to be on the menu- IT WAS SO GOOD! My dining partner had the rigatoni bolognese, which was also very good. But I think that my pork chop was honestly the best pork chop I have ever tasted- ever. For dessert we had the banana bread pudding- very yummy. My date and I were the last people to leave the restaurant, and instead of being rushed out, we chatted for about an hour with the owners and staff. It was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone for the great food and also the exceptional service.

One of the Best BYOB's in the City!

My friends and I ate here at this delightful restaurant for "Dining Out For Life",where the staff is very accomodating. They keep the menu simple with choices of pasta, seafood, and steak, with a nice assortment of delicious desserts. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy, great for a date or just being out with friends. I'd recommend this place to anyone!
