great food, awful service. I've been going to this restaurant for several years. Lately, the service has been horrible and it's a shame because the food is really great & I'd love to eat here more often if it weren't for a particular waitress that ruins each and every experience.

Service is incredibly slow when it's relied on her; any time I need anything, I have to get up and go to her or the cooks to request it. On one occasion, she had friends there and sat with them the entire time talking so any time I needed something, I had to go to their table to request it. On another occasion, they didn't have enough change in the register so instead of getting $0.78 back, I got nothing (they should have offered $1).

I hope this place changes their attitude or they will lose a lot of customers.

Excellent food. my wife is pregnant, and she cant eat a food if it is not cook well or have a little problem, but she loved and me too, we eat a lot.

we have planning to go there every week, because really all their foods were healthy and fresh with the best format and cocking.

Good kebabs, but not lacks atmosphere as a hookah bar. This restaurant has the ambience of a cafeteria, which is okay if you go there for the good Persian food. However, if you're going for the hookah/sheeshah experience, it's likely to be a disappointment because of the lack of a loungy atmosphere. Think of it as a place to get some kabab, rice and a Snapple.

Love them!. House of Kabob has best gyro in the city...awesome basmati, the shirazi salad is to die for and my friends swear by the hummus. Great food!

Diamond in the Rough!. Most of the foreign food in this town isn't up to par, but this place is a Diamond in the Rough. Great ambience and great stories from the owners. Start your meal off with some of the best humus you will ever taste, then pick from all the great meats. For 4 or more people I would recommend getting the $15/each family style meal. More than enough for everyone, we usually take some home. My only complaint was the lack of fountain drinks, just bottles, but you can't have everything!

Yum. A reasonably priced Persian BYOB with good Persian food in Old City, can life get any better? For excellent value and good food in a great location, I definately recommend Aromatic.

Awesome Food and Amazing Value. If you have not been here yet, you are missing out on one of Philly's best deals. The food is authentic Persian and the prices are great with almost everything under $10. The place is really nice and the service is very friendly and responsive. This is one of the best meals I have ever had in the city. Go soon!
