Great place. I have been a client for some yrs now. The owner is very professional, she lets you know what to do if you want your hair to be healthy. She never takes a break to eat, which amazes me about the previous comment. The price is the same for every client. In my personal opinion this is a great salon, with no drama.....

Somewhat Unprofessional. I've been going to Bernita(the owner) since she worked @ Harlems. She was ok & she really dont converse w/her customers. Now she has her own spot. She shows favoritism and charge lower 4da ppl she likes. She will stop n da middle of ur hair n eat her food. she dont excuse herself or anything. my thing is she's always late. never make an appt w/her n da morning up to 12. she will never show up or say she had to get her daughter. Now i started going to the other girl dat been a wash girl there for a very long time. Her name is Lovette. She's way more professional, does ur hair better & will ask can she take a break to eat. she's always there n da mornin opening up da shop n getn business started. she's licensed now by the way. but if u wanna make an appt make it w/her n she'll give u da rite price n keep u sharp. i cant wait til she get her own shop so i can stop giving my business to Phlamboyant Phaces.

I'll pass.... I went here to find out prices about a week ago. I asked the owner if she had any pictures of her work and she acted as though she was embarrassed to show it. That was enough to help me reach a decision...that and the fact the woman she had in the chair looked a hot mess. I guess the good reviews that have been received for this hair salon are for other stylists who work there...too bad I did not have a chance to speak with any of the other stylist.
