Killer locally owned alternative to Chipotle and other build-a-burrito chains. The spicy beef and chorizo are both excellent meat options; get two of each as hard tacos, or both mixed in a burrito.
world cup. watched world cup here on my extended lunch breaks. even though mexico lost i kept coming back for the guacamole! it's also nice to sneak a negra modelo with your burrito. i would recommend the brisket or the chorizo with frijoles negros. the aroz and the tomatillo salsa remind me of home. i hope you like it like i do. and maybe you'll come to watch the copa libatadores and champions league with me and the staff. they make great food and love the futbol like me. okay. bye.
best guac. if you like guacamole...this is the place. if you like good quesadillas....watch out! if you like the kind of place that serves beer, plays good beats, and is chill...i would invite some friends.
if you like big burritos...
el fuego is like a fantasy--- delicious 10 inch burritos, authentic mexican beer and soda, wonderfully diverse array of music, and most of all an intelligent highly attentive staff... oh yeah and they have a massive flat screen which plays soccer from around the world.
lunch is hectic so i advise visiting early on your lunch break or after work when there is adequate seating. during lunch the staff operates in a amazingly efficient fashion which is in itself worth a visit.
the atmosphere is pleasant and kid friendly. i promise your visit will be well worth it and the value is a steal.
Awesome Customer Service!!!. Excellent food, great service, and definitely not a long wait. Great for people with less than a 45 minute lunch! The burritos are awesome and huge. Everything is fresh. I would definitely suggest that you eat here.
Big Burritos. Coming from California, I've had my share of good Mexican food. It is very difficult to find a decent burrito anywhere out here. El Fuego is as close as I've come in Philadelphia. Their burritos are huge and quite tasty. Far better than Santa Fe Burrito.
love love love. I go there once a week. I love everything about the place. Burrito's the size of your head. I want to move in and live there. Seriously, awesome food, the people are awesome.
Best service and great food!. This place rules! The service and food were both great! I was there while they were closing one night and they seriously clean that place. I must say they put out some of the best burritos, they're huge, so you really get your moneys worth. Not to mention the hot guys that work there, check it out!
Good bite for lunch. Sure, it's not Tequila's, but this place makes a good burrito that will fill you up right. The atmosphere is nice and they even have a happy hour on weekdays with bottled beer specials on Coronas and Negro Modelo etc. I've always found the burrito-makers to be very friendly. The spicy beef burrito is the best. Packs a lot of flavor.
The new Thing!. Having lived and traveled to several places. A fairly new concept of fast but healthy food is introduced as concept of burritos. This has become very popular very quickly...look at Chipotle and QDoba. El Fuego follows the concept of Chipotle except for the ambience. Overall the food is fast and a great value. Higly recommended!
