go there if you have no other better place to burn your mone.
We had ordered steak and salmon for our dinner. The food was good, however, the service was horrible. We waited for about 20 minutes to get the drinks and bread, then, another 15 minutes for appetizer, then, before we had finished the appetizer, the main course was on the table. The waitress (she was only to serve appetizer, drink, salad, and soup) had asked around several other tables before reached us to deliver our beer, then the same thing happened for another table. If seems the waitress had no idea who ordered what. You would not see the waiter around unless he needs to be there himself. We had leftovers needed to pack up, the waiter gave us a box with stains on it, we had to pack food up ourselves.
Waitress and waiter are joking around while we were having our dinner there. At the end, the waiter could not wait to see the tips we added in the bill, he had to stop in the middle of the room to do this, it was only three steps from our table. Of course, we gave him 20% of the bill. He was very unprofessional!!
One last thing I want to mention was the bathroom. We have found that both men and women's were horrible, dirty, and wasts were on the floor. A woman was yelling her son in the women's room. We could not believe this restaurant is located in Hyatt. We had expected good food, beautiful music and river view before our experience at the restaurant. It has completely ruined our day.
Food price is too high for the quality of the food. We did not mind that very much since that was we had expected. But, the service did not match the price.
Our recommendation for you is that do not wast your money and time, unless you have money to burn, and have nowhere else to do so, and do not mind that would destroy your mood for the day.
We have never given any bad review for any restaurant we have been since we do research before we make our reservation and no one has disappointed me as the way this one did. We think as consumer you need to know before you go there.
This hotel restaurant serves up new American cuisine with a waterfront view..
In Short
Traveling business types fill the bar and window-side tables at this nautically-themed eatery overlooking the Delaware River. The atmosphere is accented with smooth jazz, candlelit tables and a menu that mentions name-brand ingredients. Diners sample everything from steak and pancetta-wrapped scallops to a crab cake trio and encrusted lamb chops. A popular item is the veal chops with Gorgonzola sauce. Desserts include a variety of sundaes and cappuccinos.
Amazing Views!. Keating's River Grill is a beautiful waterfront restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff is excellent! I had enjoyed an amazing dinner on their riverfront terrace, while watching the sailboats float by and people walking around on Penn's Landing. It was the perfect dining experience and I have recommended Keating's River Grill to all of my friends. Go and see for yourself.
