Yardley >The Face and Body Spa
Excellent Service!. I've been having Massages for over 15 years, everywhere you can think of - North America, Europe, The Caribbean and last week I received one of the best, most relaxing massages I've had at the Face & Body Spa in Yardley Pa. I was a first time customer and called the day of left a message, at approximately 12:00pm, and they returned my call within 45 minutes with all the information necessary to book the appointment - availabilty, times, costs, types of massages etc. - very prompt and efficient. When I arrived they greeted me, gave a quick tour of the facility and got me through the paperwork so I could get to my treatment (I was running late). The massage was wonderful and as I said, one of the best I've had in a long time, they asked all they right questions and listened to what I had to say. I'll be going back each month!!! I've paid more for a massage and I've paid less but the cost at this Spa is well worth the price and very reasonable for what I received.
In deperate need of a deep tissue massage, got the softest massage ever possible.
I like the spa itself but I have to admit I was disappointed.
I was in desperate need of a deep tissue massage, as requested, and had been looking forward to this day for a long time.
In walks a small, meek, fragile girl, (I know looks can be decieveing so I held in my reservations).
However, I don't think this sweet girl felt one knot, despite multiple huge pain inducing knots that have been festering for months now, because her touch was so soft you could barely feel her fingers let alone any strength that needed to be expounded to make any kind of repair.
I wasn't so much disappointed with her because she was genuine and doing what she knew, but I was disappointed that the coordinator who knew her skills and still decided she was right for this particular request.
Making it right.
Of course we did love the first review that Rockway4 posted, but her new review is just as important to me. I am Heather Dempsey-Gade, the owner and a technician at the face & Body spa. We NEVER want someone to leave without being satisfied and we always want our clients to feel comfortable communicating during their services. Communication on both ends is VERY important. I am so sorry to hear that you were less than thrilled with your treatments. And the hours we are open do vary (slightly) based on the appointments scheduled. Although we are present during the majority of them, the hours posted are the "hours appointments are available". We can and will always be available if someone needs us during those hours. I have tried to locate Rockway4 in our records so I could do everything possible to make it right, but have had no luck. I would like to invite you back to make up for your disappointment. We do have services and staff to suite everyone. We are here to give everyone the opportunity to relax, reenergize and enjoy! I will do what ever I can to make it right. I take great pride in the quality of service and client care we all put into our work.

Unpredictable hours. Much as I enjoyed this spa on my first visit I find it increasingly frustrating. I like businesses that keep regular hours so you know when they are open. I have driven to the spa on more than one occassion during their regular business hours to buy product or a gift card only to find it locked and dark. It seems that if they don't have appointments scheduled they turn off the lights and go home! No way to run a business, in my opinion. Oh, and the esthetician I wrote about before is not longer there. Be prepared for painful extractions if you go to Alison.
