Terrific family restaurant. The food is reliably good "homecooked" comfort food like my mother used to make: too many calories, too high in cholesterol and so absolutely heartwarming. Turkey platters, slow roasted beef, pork chops, salads, pulled pork, grilled or fried tilapia are among the tastiest items on the menu. The biscuits and corn muffins are scrumptious. Vegetables are out of this world, including those wonderful turnip greens, string beans (cooked with ham) and pinto beans. Cracker Barrel is a family (diner style) restaurant. Based on that realization, it is a must go.....as long as you avoid the height of the rush hour.

A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969.. In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.
