No 1 Chinese Restaurant is better than most. i have tried all the Chinese restaurants in the Norristown area. No 1 is friendly and fast. The food is not greasy and tastes fresh. My whole office orders from No 1 only when we want chinese.

I agree with one of these reviews.... This seemed to be the only chinese restaurant anywhere in norristown that was willing to deliver, so I called and ordered something very simple. She asked me several times for my phone number (in an irrationally accusatory manner) and I had to spell out my address at least 3 times.

Eventually, she accepted my very simple order and said it would be 30 minutes. I literally live less than one mile away from this place. It took just under THREE HOURS for the food to arrive. I called multiple times and each time she asked repeatedly who I was, my address, my phone number... and said the delivery guy just left. Three hours.

To top it off, my fiancé and I both got diarrhea from the food later that night. Possibly because it had been sitting around for HOURS before it had been delivered? Save yourself the wasted time and the intestinal distress. Don't go to this restaurant (or call for delivery!)
