For the neighborhood, a gem..
There are not many comparable places on this strip of Montgomery Ave. I have to admit I have never eaten anything BUT the roast turkey sandwich just because the roast turkey sandwich is so terrific. I do occasionally stop by the bar for an after-work cocktail. At lunch it is basically blue-haired main-line "ladies who lunch."
Prices are pretty reasonable for a "tablecloth" kind of restaurant, and they obviously know how to put out quality food. I'll try to make a point of getting past my standard order, and report again, but this is the classiest lunch joint on the Eastern Main Line I can think of. it's perfect for a quiet lunch or a rehearsal dinner.
There is outdoor seating in nice weather !!!
