Laura herself is a wonder. Very attentive but also very matter-of-fact, and with a quietly wicked sense of humor. She somehow manages to put you at your ease and discover everything she needs to know without a hint of smarminess or artificiality. But, having gone to several other acupuncturists in other cities, the thing that is most striking about Laura is her confident ability to diagnose symptoms that may seem disparate, and then to simply and effectively treat the whole picture, the whole person. I first went to Laura for an insomnia problem. I was having terrible trouble sleeping and had been for years, and through a combination of acupuncture and herbal treatment, Laura sent me back the Land of Nod almost immediately. I have slept like a baby ever since, and I will always be very grateful to her. I know it seems like a little thing, but she really put my life back on course! I recommend her very, very highly.

Laura has been treating me for many issues over the years- One is arthritis which responds really well to acupuncture -I dont want to be on long term medications therapy more than I can help it. Also, there has been effective relief for my myositis -pain and swelling of muscles related to an auto-immune disorder . These treatments have helped balance my immune response effectively. Additionally, my problems with facial palsy are responding well to her treatments. What impresses me about her most is the passion she has for learning and growing as an acupuncturist She constantly looks for new approaches in her technique to address a problem. She is always interested in the general well-being of a client and I rely on her knowledge.
