Great camps! – My two kids had the best time during their spring break at the holiday camp at Kehlers. They met new friends and got to try out the rock wall and mini golf for the first time. They both came home full of good spirits and I just signed them up for several weeks of summer camp. The schedule was flexible, we only signed up for the weeks that we were free. The staff was energetic and positive, the variety of activities kept the kids busy. There was a week that the facility was closed which was too bad and I will need to send lunch. Glad I found this neat camp.
STAY AWAY! – Stay away! Rude staff, takes the fun and joy right out of your kids. While checking in we were told to keep our kids sitting down and quiet. You are not even allowed in the same room with your kids unless you want to buy a $5 pair of socks and crawl through the tunnels to sit and watch them. Kids were yelled at for running around and having fun. Very dirty. Their socks were black and we stayed 20min. All staff and workers have huge attitute problems. Do yourself a favor and save the outrageous $10-$14 per child and go somewhere else. Most positive reviews have been written by the Kehler family themselves. Look around the web, you will find many negative reviews. I wish I had before I went. The staff is obnoxious and Mrs Kehler lost her temper completely. I've read Mr Kehler has been known to as well. This place should be shut down! Your children are too precious to take a gamble. My 4 year old asked me why they were so mean. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else! The fun factory sucked the fun right out of everyone.
Excellent for cheerleading – No fundraising. No parents organization. Just a solid and fun cheerleading program for my little girl. We spent two years on another All Stars cheer program and OMG the fund raising was endless. I felt like I had a part time job, and I already had a real full time job plus being a full time mom! We are so happy at Kehler’s. As long as they don’t make me join one of those crazy parent’s organizations like they have at my last program we’ll be staying at Kehler’s. Honestly, I guess some people like those sort of things, but I have a life and a real career. I don’t need to waste my time and get stressed dealing with fund raisers. We’re glad we joined Kehler’s this year.
A Good Decision – I’ve never done any activities with my 2 year old daughter Paige so Kehler’s Tumble Tykes was our first
experience together like this. Frankly I was worried after the first class because she didn’t really seem
to want to stay with the group or do anything. The only reason I came back the next week was because
they had warned me that sometimes it takes a few classes for 2 year olds to warm up. It’s been almost
two months now and what a huge improvement. Paige loves her teacher Ms. Deanna, and she’ll do
anything the teacher asks now. Her favorite is the trampolines. They have big ones and little ones, and
Paige doesn’t care just so she’s bouncing (which she now does on the bed at home!). It seems like she’s
lost all fear now and I am so excited to see her self confidence soar. I even notice a difference with how
well she responds to other new situations and new people now. This was a good decision. I’m glad I stayed.
Lots of Fun – My children really enjoyed their party this weekend in the indoor playground and gymnastics center. Staff was calm and kind. The other programs like camp look really interesting. I will check out the holiday camp for spring break.
Really FUN Place for Kids! – We had our first party at Kehler's recently and what a wonderful discovery for kids. I found them on line and the video on their website looked great, but honestly it's even better in person. Yes, it was busy but the young people they had hosting our party were so well trained and prepared that they made it all look easy. We were greeted by our host and he walked us through the entire party from start to finish.
Sarah had just turned seven and she had a wonderful time on the trampolines and bouncers. Her favorite game was a big pool in the floor filled with thousands of foam squares. Under the squares is a giant trampoline so it's like swimming in pop corn! You have to see it to believe it.
Later we were all taken into the Kids Fun Factory where we played together in tunnels and ball pits. My 2 year old had his own little play area away from the other kids which was just great for him.
The seating area was bright and colorful and very clean. What a perfect day!
I'm so glad I've discovered Kehler's! When I talk to my friends they all seem to have been there already. Better late than not at all I guess!
Love This Place! Great for Kids! – As a little girl I attended Kehler's and always loved it. Now that I have children of my own we have come back to Kehler's and what a surprise! This place is even bigger and better than it was when I was a child. My daughter attends the Tumble Tykes class and her teacher is so sweet and patient. Every day she wakes up and says, "Tumble Tykes Day?" Our 9 year old boy attends the developmental boys class. Its great to have him participating in a program with so many other boys. He has grown so much and it has done so much for his self confidence!
The birthday parties at Kehlers are always lots of fun as well. My son just had a rock climbing party and we had a delightful time.
I would truely reccommend Kehler's to anyone with children!
Unbelievable and RUDE – I feel the need to bring to your attention the despicable actions of the owner and staff of Kehler's Gymnastics. My wife bought gymnastics lessons for our daughter at Kehler's Gymnastics in Broomall, PA. Our daughter never set foot on the mat, being intimidated the minute she walked in the door. My wife tried to calmly ask for a refund, and after they made her wait over a half an hour (while she handled a 2 year old and a 6 year old) she approached the owner, Russ Kehler. Russ told her very rudely that he would not be giving her a refund and she needed to take it up with the youth organization she bought the lesson through. My wife questioned that Kehler's has the check and they should provide the refund. Mr. Kehler then again refused...rudely. My wife told Mr. Kehler that he wasn't a very nice person, at which point Mr Kehler yelled at her. His attack was so brutal that she came home crying. I called Mr. Kehler and tried to get to the bottom of this, but his tone was incredibly rude and he ended up hanging up on me. In the end, we will seek this in small claims court. We find it unacceptable that a business owner would treat anyone this way.
His tone, demeanor, and simply the way he treated me and my wife is not only uncalled for, it seems it would go against any better business practice. We thought you should know. We expect no true resolution, but an owner who berates and demeans his customers need to be exposed. We have reported them to the appropriate agencies.
Wonderful kids program. Great value. Fun camps. – Fantastic camp programs for working moms with before and after care. Lots of fun activities including rock climbing, soft indoor playground and gymnastics. Not only summer camps, but also drop off programs during the school year on major school holidays. Dance programs, cheerleading, tot gymnastics, birthday parties - a family program with lots of extras. Great staff who are very well trained and cheerful.
